Accidental Adventures | Everything Smells of Strawberries

Hello everyone, welcome to another Accidental Adventure post.

As you may know by now, this series, is all about my adventures I end up having because of me being visually Impaired.

If you want to read my previous two posts. Just click the Accidental Adventure tab on my sidebar.

Let me give you a little bit of background.

This past Thursday, my brother Jamie, if you watch my vlogs, he’s basically the camera man. Anyway, he is hoping to go to college in September. In order to acheive his placement. He had to go for a formal interview.

Knowing that we was going to the supermarket later that day, he suggested, I come with him, and we’ll go shopping after his interview. That was fine by me. Getting back to the post. We set off on the bus to town. Just so you know, Jamie is planning to go to our local city college.

We got off at our stop in town, and Jamie suggested, he would leave me outside our local Starbucks, and I would wait for him to finish his interview. After leaving me outside Starbucks, he went off to his interview. About 20 minutes, Jamie came back, and we decided to get a drink at Starbucks, before going shopping.

Our Starbucks, is very modern, if I remember right it’s only about three years old. The reason I like Starbucks is because, yes it’s a little over priced, but it tastes good and the staff are extremely friendly. One staff member knows both me and Jamie by name, and always comes up and says hello, it’s the personal touches that makes a good experience.

Getting back to the post. We ordered our drinks. Jamie had a Cookie Crumble Frappuccino with extra cream, and I had a Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino with extra cream and strawberry sauce. We got our drinks and sat down.

amie put the drinks down on the table and sat down. Me not noticing the drinks. I stretched my arm out to get my phone out of my pocket. After reaching my arm, I had accidentally knocked my drink against the wall. The drink went EVERYWHERE!! All over the table, on the wall, on the floor, which by the way was where I had placed my cane, it looked like I had massacered someone. I felt really embarreesed. I went up to the counter and asked if they had a cloth, so I could clean it up. The very nice lady said, don’t worry we’ll come clean it.

About a minute later a very nice woman came with a cloth and said, jokingly, have you been throwing your drink around?, she laughed and said, i’ll go get you another drink, what was your order again?. I told her my order, and she brought me another drink. After bringing me another drink, she said just leave the mess, i’ll clean it up once you’ve gone. That’s what I mean. They’re extremely helpful, and polite. I suppose on the plus side, my cane does now smell of strawberries and cream. Which isn’t a bad smell.

opefully you enjoyed my new post. Have you ever knocked over anything, and being very embarrassed?. I would love to hear your stories. You can get in touch by leaving me a comment, using the social tab in my navigation bar. Or you can just straight up email me, using the contact me tab.
