Wake The Admiral | Admiral Grooming Anti-Fatigue Trio Gift Set

As some of you probably already know, I recently managed to pick up the Admiral Grooming Anti-Fatigue Trio Gift Set, which contains a bottle of the Admiral Grooming Detoxifying Facial Scrub with Cucumber extract, a bottle of the Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract, and a bottle of the Admiral Grooming Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract. Well i’ve been using them all for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them..

Three different sized cylindrical black bottles with gold lids and pumps sat on a light brown cardboard tray inside a rectangular blue box that has admiral grooming Anti-Fatigue Trio written in bold gold writing, and antioxidant moisture balm, detoxifying facial scrub, and anti-ageing eye serum written in smaller gold writing on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Admiral Grooming say about all three amazing products.

The Admiral Grooming Detoxifying Facial Scrub with Cucumber extract.

Our Detoxifying Facial Scrub works to diminish built up dirt and excess oil from deep within the skin’s surface by exfoliating, detoxifying and cleansing the face. Containing Cucumber extract which contains antioxidants and silica that are known to rejuvenate the skin and have a cooling and soothing effect for those who suffer with sensitive or irritated skin after shaving.

The Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract.

Our Antioxidant Moisturising Balm, hydrates and moisturises the skin. Skin can become damaged from shaving and our Moisturising Balm helps to protect sensitive, irritated skin and maximises and locks in skins moisture. The Artichoke extract included in this product is used as a regenerating ingredient, diminishing any toxins and calming down any inflamed skin, reducing the redness on the skins surface.

The Admiral Grooming Anti Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract.

Our Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract deeply hydrates the skin around the Eye area, slowing down the process of ageing with it’s light and non-greasy formula. This product helps to reduce the appearance of any fine lines and wrinkles around the Eye. The Pomegranate extract in this product provides the skin with Vitamin C, Folic Acid and Polyphenols, all giving skin a youthful look and protecting it from day to day harsh environmental stressors.

The Admiral Grooming Detoxifying Facial Scrub with Cucumber extract.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as I thought that it had a gorgeous fresh and citrusy scent to it that kind of reminded me of a really citrusy men’s cologne.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was technically a scrub, I thought that it felt more like they had blended an extremely thin and watery cream with little pieces of granular Sea Salt.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my skin, I found that it turned from an extremely thin and watery cream into a really powerful and granular scrub that went a very long way.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as even though I thought that it felt a little bit on the harsh side, I loved that it left my face feeling incredibly soft and smooth without totally destroying my skin in the process.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though it came in a tall plastic bottle with a pump that looked beautiful sat on my beauty shelves, I found that a lot of the scrub always got stuck inside the pump.

The Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as I thought that it had a nice and clean masculine scent to it that kind of reminded me of a mix of Shea Butter and an high end men’s cologne.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as I was expecting it to feel extremely creamy, but it actually felt really watery, and spread incredibly easily across my face.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had massaged a little bit of it into my face, I found that even though it felt extremely watery, that it set within a matter of seconds without leaving my skin feeling tacky.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as I found that once it had eventually set, that it left my skin feeling incredibly soft, moisturised and matte, without leaving it feeling greasy.

It’s packaging.

I again wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though it came in a petite plastic bottle with a pump that looked beautiful sat on my beauty shelves, I found that the pump only released an extremely tiny amount of moisturiser at a time, which meant that it took several pumps to cover my entire face.

The Admiral Grooming Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as I thought that it had a very powdery yet woodsy scent to it that strangely reminded me of a high end men’s Talcum Powder.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was technically a Serum, I thought that it felt really thick, and actually felt more like a thick lip balm rather than a thin watery Eye Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my skin, I found that it turned into a thin and watery Serum that was really easy to spread around my Eyes.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as after I had used it, not only did it leave the skin underneath and around my Eyes feeling incredibly soft, moisturised and matte, but it also left me looking like I had actually had a decent nights’ sleep.

It’s packaging..

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in an incredibly tiny bottle with a pump that looked beautiful sat on my beauty shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Admiral Grooming Detoxifying Facial Scrub with Cucumber extract a nine out of ten, the Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract an eight point five out of ten, and the Admiral Grooming Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract a nine out of ten. I really liked the Admiral Grooming Detoxifying Facial Scrub with Cucumber extract, as I absolutely loved it’s gorgeous citrusy scent, it’s extremely thin and watery consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I unfortunately just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s packaging as it took a lot of effort just to get a little bit of it out of it’s bottle. I really liked the Admiral Grooming Antioxidant Moisturising Balm with Artichoke extract, as I loved it’s gorgeous scent, it’s strange almost lip balm consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I again wasn’t a massive fan of it’s packaging as it took between four and five pumps to cover my entire face. I really liked the Admiral Grooming Anti-Ageing Eye Serum with Pomegranate extract, as I absolutely loved it’s strange powdery yet woodsy scent, it’s thick and balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I did think that it’s scent was a little strange for an Eye Serum.
