I absolutely love using some kind of a Vitamin C Serum in my Skincare Routine, as I really like how nice they make my Skin look and feel. That’s why when the guys over at Avon very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Anew Vitamin C Maximising Serum, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Avon say about their Anew Vitamin C Radiance Maximising Serum.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Ascorbic Acid, and Hydroxypropylcellulose, I thought that it had a very overwhelming chemical scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent of a very cheap Hairspray.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly watery Moisturiser rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a very thick and balmy yet ever so slightly watery Moisturiser into a very thick and balmy Oil that took quite a long time to set. I also wasn’t really a massive fan of that once it had eventually set, that it left my skin feeling incredibly greasy and sticky.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, supple, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much brighter for hours after I had used it.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Avon Anew Vitamin C Radiance Maximising Serum a seven point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s thick and balmy yet ever so slightly watery consistency, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s overwhelming chemical scent, or that it left my Skin feeling so greasy and sticky.
I was very kindly sent a sample of Avon Anew Vitamin C Radiance Maximising Serum to review, but all thoughts, opinions, and general ramblings are my own.
