Butter Me Up | Bomb Cosmetics Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter & Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter

As some of you probably already know, a couple of weeks ago I was very kindly invited down to The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate to celebrate their launch, and whilst I was there, one of the really friendly staff members showed me a couple of things from Bomb Cosmetics that they will be stocking, including their Shower Butters that are like a blend between a moisturising Shower Gel and a Body Butter and are available in either Blackcurrant, Vanilla, Mandarin, Mint Choc Chip, or Pina Colada. Well after giving them all a good sniff, I eventually picked up a tub of the Bomb Cosmetics Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter and a tub of the Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Bomb Cosmetics say about both of their delicious smelling products.

The Bomb Cosmetics Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter.

Our Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter is a rich creamy Shower Gel that’s semi-solid at room temperature. As well as gently cleansing your Body, the  formulation contains natural Shea Butter to richly moisturise and condition your Skin.

Energising zesty Mandarin, fresh Apples, green Leaf and bright notes of Yuzu open into a floral aromatic heart of pretty Orange Blossom,  finishing with sweet Coconut.

The Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter.

Our Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter is a rich creamy Shower Gel that is semi-solid at room temperature. As well as gently cleansing your Body, the formulation contains natural Shea Butter to richly moisturise and condition your Skin.

With ripe juicy opening notes of Blackcurrant, the fruity heart blends Summer Strawberries and Raspberries with the subtile scent of Blueberries. Creamy Caramel and Vanilla compliment the natural sweetness of the Fruits for a warm finish.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Mandarin, Apple, Yuzu, Orange Blossom, and Coconut, I thought that it had an extremely strong fresh and zesty Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of Orange Kitchen Cleaner.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Butter, I thought that it felt really thick and creamy, and was more like a thick and gloopy Body Lotion rather than a thick and heavy Body Butter.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a thick and gloopy Shower Butter into a light and creamy yet frothy Body Milk that was really easy to spread across my Skin.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling so soft and moisturised that I didn’t have to use a Body Lotion afterwards, but it also left it smelling of incredibly strong fresh and zesty Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive Orange and Yellow plastic tub with a clickable lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Blackcurrant, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Caramel, and Vanilla, I thought that it had an extremely strong fresh and sour Blackcurrant scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive bottle of Ribena.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Bomb Cosmetics Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter a nine out of ten, and the Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter a nine out of ten. I really liked the Bomb Cosmetics Mandarin Cleansing Shower Butter, as I absolutely loved it’s extremely strong fresh and zesty Orange scent, it’s thick and creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was easier to get hold of. I also really liked the Bomb Cosmetics Blackcurrant Cleansing Shower Butter, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious and incredibly strong fresh and sour Blackcurrant scent, it’s thick and creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I again just wish that it was easier to get hold of.
