Degusta Box | March 2015

Hi all my wonderful readers. How are you all doing today?

I recently received my March Degusta Box, and I thought I would share with you, what I received.

If you have never heard of the amazingness that is Degusta Box. They are a monthly subscription box, filled full of either new, new to the market, or beloved yummy food and drink.

Here’s what I got this month.

Jordans Granola and Natvia

The first things I got were the Jordans Granola RRP £3.69, and Natvia, RRP £2.00.

I am already a massive fan of Jordans, but they have now released a healthier version of their wonderful granola. I love to just eat this straight out of the bag. I know that sounds weird, but I don’t really likeG cereal with milk. I was very glad I received this. The bag is absolutely massive, and I can tell it’s going to take me a while to get through it all. The flavour is gorgeous. I love their original strawberry flavour, but mixing it with blueberries was a brilliant idea.

The Natvia I found a little strange. If you don’t know what it is, it’s basically a natural sweetner derived from Stevia. It was ok. It was just your run of the mill sugar substitute. I could have taken it or left it to be fairly honest.

Brioche Pasquier Baked Bread Bites, BBQUE, and Kents Kitchen Posh Noodles

The next three things I received were the Brioche Pasquier Baked Bread Bites, RRP £0.50, BBQUE, RRP £3.99, and some Kents Kitchen Posh Noodles, RRP £1.75.

The baked bread bites were kind of interesting. They are nice little pieces of crusty chunks of bread, kind of like mini croutons. They have a little bit of a twist though, they’re bacon flavoured. I really liked these. If I can find them in my local supermarket, then I will most definitely be picking some more up, and at 50p a pack you can’t go wrong.

The BBQUE was a little strange to receive, but i’m really glad I did. I love barbecue sauce, and to get a really nice smoky woody bottle that I have never tried was fantastic. I have been having this with everything. It’s to die for, and if I can find any of the three other flavours then I will have to pick them all up.

The Kents Kitchen Posh Noodles are just an ampt up pot noodle. It was ok, but it’s not something I would pay £1.75 for. It was just a pot of noodles with a kind of spicyish chinesey sauce. I liked it, but it was nothing special.

That was all the strange, and savoury things I received. Now for my favourite, the sweets.

Maynards Sour Patch Kids, Bassets Jelly Babies Berry Mix, and Lindt Lindor Assorted Mini Eggs.

I received three different kinds. I got some Maynards Sour Patch Kids, RRP £1.00, some Bassetts Jelly Babies Berry Mix, RRP £1.49, and some Lindt Lindor Assorted Mini Eggs, RRP £2.00.

i’m not usually a sour kind of guy but I thought I would give these a try. They were nice, but not something I could eat a lot of. If I buy something sweet, I don’t want it to make my tongue hurt. I buy salt and vinegar crisps for that, sweets should be sweet.

The Jelly Babies were actually quite refreshing. Bassetts have taken the strawberry, raspberry, and blackcurrant babies, and given them their very own bag. If I see these again then I will most definitely be picking quite a few bags up.

I love chocolate, and if you want good chocolate, then you have to go for Lindt. Lindt is the most creamiest, most indulgent chocolate I have ever eaten, and I was really thrilled to receive not only one, but two packets of these to die for mini eggs.

I also received two lovely drinks in my March Degusta Box.

The first was some of the Juice Burst juices, RRP £1.25.

Juiceburst

I received two of their fifthteen flavours. I really liked the Mango one. It was very fruity. The plus side to these drinks is that they are all 100% juice and are one of your 5 a day. I hadn’t heard of these before, but now I know of them I am on the hunt for the rest of the flavours.

Crabbies Alcoholic Fruits cherry and Rhubarb

I also received an alcoholic drink. I got two of the Crabbies Alcoholic Fruits, RRP £1.50.

As you all may know, I am not a drinker, but I absolutely loved these. I got one in the cherry flavour, and one in the rhubarb flavour. The rhubarb one was very fruity but not too sour, and the cherry one was perfect. It did taste a little too alcoholy, but I need more of these in my life and I may have just found a drink I actually like.

Overall, the March Degusta Box was a massive hit. I am really glad I received all of these lovely products. If you haven’t already checked out Degusta Box then please do. Trust me you won’t regret purchasing one. If you do want to get your own, you can do so by clicking here.
