Just What The Doctor Ordered | Dr Organic Hemp Oil Deodorant | Gifted

I’m always looking for a more natural and Aluminium Free Deodorant that will keep me dry all day, but as I sweat quite a lot it’s very difficult to find one that actually works. That’s why when the guys over at Dr Organic very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Hemp Oil Deodorant, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical White Plastic Roller Ball Bottle with a clear lid and a white label that has Dr Organic Hemp Oil Deodorant written in bright green writing and some pictures of some leaves on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Dr Organic say about their Hemp Oil Deodorant.

A liquid Cream Roll-On Deodorant that’s gentle yet highly effective. Providing Skin care benefits to all Skin types, it is based on Organic Hemp Oil blended with Aloe Vera, Sunflower Oil, Icelandic Moss and Vitamin E. This everyday Deodorant provides long-lasting protection and leaves your Skin feeling soothed and revitalised.

Suitable for Vegans.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Icelandic Moss Extract, Hemp Seed Oil,  Horsetail Extract, Hop Extract, Hibiscus Flower Extract, Gurjum Balsam Oil, Palmarosa Oil, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Camphor Bark Oil, Peppermint Oil, Patchouli Oil, Geranium Oil, Vetiver Root Oil, Lemon Peel Extract, Cypress Seed Extract, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Lavender Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Carrageenan Extract, I thought that it had a very overwhelming medicinal yet ever so slightly herbal scent to it that kind of reminded me of if they had blended an entire Bottle of Lavender Oil with an entire Bottle of Tea Tree Oil.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Liquid Cream Deodorant, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly sticky, and was more like a thin and watery yet ever so slightly sticky Gel Face Wash rather than a thick and gloopy Liquid Cream Deodorant.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had rolled a little bit of it on to my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly sticky Gel Face Wash into a thin and balmy Face Serum that set within a matter of seconds. I however wasn’t really a massive fan of that once it had finally set, that it left my Under Arms feeling really sticky for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Arms feeling incredibly silky soft, invigorated and intensely moisturised, but it also kept them feeling extremely dry and smelling great all day.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Rollerball Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Dr Organic Hemp Oil Deodorant an eight point five out of ten. I really liked it’s very overwhelming medicinal yet ever so slightly herbal scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of that it left my Under Arms feeling so sticky after I had used it. I also found that it’s overwhelming medicinal yet ever so slightly herbal scent tended to interfere with whatever other Fragrance I was wearing throughout the day.
