Scrub Scrub There | My Five Favourite Body Scrubs

I absolutely love when my skin is feeling at it’s best and is extremely soft, but like many people, sometimes my skin doesn’t want to play ball, and it wants to be rough and dry. To combat this irritating feeling, I always like to use a body scrub in my body care routine. If your skin is anything like mine, I thought you would like to know my five favourite scrubs to use to achieve gorgeous feeling soft skin.

First up has to be the Sanctuary Salt Scrub.

The Sanctuary Salt Scrub, is amazing, and contains Sea Salt from the renowned Dead Sea. It also contains a mix of oils including, Jojoba, Almond, and Coconut oil. The Dead Sea Salt scrubs your skin to within an inch of it’s life, and the oils moisturise to leave your skin feeling incredibly silky soft. This smells incredible, and is perfect for the Summer as it just smells like a fresh Sea breeze. The only thing I would say about this is that it is quite harsh, so if you have sensitive skin, it’s probably not for you, but otherwise it’s a great scrub.

Next up has to be the Sanctuary Hot Sugar Scrub.

The Sanctuary Hot Sugar Scrub, is a fantastic scrub if you want deeply cleansed and refind skin. This contains detoxifying Kaolin Clay to draw out impurities, and fine organic Sugar to buff away dead skin cells. This is the strangest scrub i’ve ever used. It has an extremely Jelly like texture, but as you massage it into your skin, it rapidly starts heating up into the most strangest tingling sensation. It did take me a while to get used to the tingling sensation, but it does leave my skin feeling like silk, so i’m not complaining. This smells just like the inside of a Spa, and is perfect to use if you’re having a little bit of a pamper session.

Next up has to be the Lush Ocean Salt.

Lush Ocean Salt, is an all natural Salt scrub containing loads of amazing ingredients that are brilliant for your skin, including, Lime steeped Vodka, Sea Salt, Avocado Butter, and Seaweed Absolute. I love the texture of this, as it’s basically just big chunks of Sea Salt and moisturising liquid, which makes my skin feel incredibly soft, but still hydrated at the same time. I also love the smell of this as it smells like a seaside cocktail with all that Lime and Sea Salt in there.

Next up has to be the Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Scrub.

The Palmers Cocoa Butter Body Scrub, is an extremely moisturising body scrub, containing Pure Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, and crushed Cocoa Beans to leave your skin silky soft but still moisturised.. This has to be the most moisturising body scrub i’ve ever used. When I use this, I don’t even need to apply anything afterwards, which is fantastic. It does leave my skin feeling incredible, but if i’m not careful when i’m washing it off, it can sometimes leave a bit of a film like residue on my skin. This like everything else, smells incredible, and really reminds me of Chocolate Ice Cream.

The last and final scrub I want to mention, has to be the St Ives Invigorating Apricot Body Scrub.

The St Ives Invigorating Apricot Body Scrub, is an oil free body scrub containing all natural extracts, including Walnuts and Apricots, to leave your skin feeling great and blemish free. This smells gorgeous, and has pretty much the same texture as the Sanctuary Hot Sugar Scrub, but a little more runny. This left my skin feeling incredibly soft, and the added Apricot smell made me keep sniffing myself all day.. The only thing I would say, is be careful near body hair, as i’ve found it can sometimes get caught in between all those little hairs on your body.

There you go, those are my favourite five body scrubs that leave my skin feeling incredibly silky soft.
