Five Things I Wish They Would Recommission

I absolutely love TV, and love nothing more than settling down at night to watch one of my favourites. The only problem with TV however, is sometimes one of your favourite TV shows can get cancelled. I know quite a few of mine have been, and I thought I would tell you five of the TV shows I would love to seen recommissioned.

  1. Charmed.

Charmed, was a supernatural drama that followed a trio of sisters known as the Charmed ones, the most powerful good witches of all time, who used their combined power of three to protect innocent lives from evil beings such as demons and warlocks, while they attempted to maintain normal lives in modern day San Francisco.

I think Charmed needs to come back, because even though they did the whole, here’s what happened throughout the rest of their lives thing, there’s still a lot more of the story for them to explore, like for instance, did Leo and Piper cope after Leo was returned to her?, and how did Paige and Henry get along after they were married? I know that they’ve brought it back as a comic book, but I honestly think it needs to come back as a series.

2. Will & Grace.

Will & Grace, was an American sitcom about the relationship between two best friends, Will Trueman, a gay lawyer, and Grace Adler, a straight interior designer.

They again did the whole, here’s what happened throughout the rest of their lives thing, but I think it needs to come back, because even though they eventually made up, I would love to see what happened while they weren’t speaking, for instance, they could explore the whole relationship between Grace and Leo, Will and Vince, or Karen and Jack. Karen has to be my favourite comedy character of all time. She’s just so bitchy, and Megan Mullally is an outstanding actress.

3. Nikita.

Nikita, was an American thriller and psychological drama that followed Nikita, a woman who escaped from a secret government funded assassins organisation, known as Division, who after a three year hiding period, was back to bring down the organisation.

I think this needs to come back, as I again think that there’s so much more to the story that they could explore. I for one would love to see what happened after they all escaped the nutcase that was Amanda, and how they got on with their lives now that they weren’t on the run anymore.

4. Scott & Bailey.

Scott & Bailey, was a crime drama that follows both the personal and professional lives of two detectives, Janet Scott, and Rachel Bailey, who were both members of the syndicate nine major incident team within Manchester Metropolitan Police.

This has only recently been cancelled, but I think it needs to come back, as there’s still so much of the story to explore. I for one would love to see how being a mother effects both Rachel’s personal, and professional life, and wether or not Janet finally gets her long overdue promotion.

5. Marvel’s Agent Carter.

Marvel’s Agent Carter, was an American action adventure that followed the Marvel Comic character, Peggy Carter, as she tried to balance life as a secret agent, with that of a single woman in 1940’s America.

This again, has only recently been cancelled, but I think it needs to come back, as there’s still so much of the story to explore. For instance, I would love to know who was killed at the end of season two, and more importantly, why?

There are loads more TV shows that I would love to see recommissioned, but I thought that I would just tell you five of them.

What TV shows would you like to see recommissioned? What’s your favourite TV show at the moment? Please let me know down below.

  1. I loved Charmed and Will and Grace. I really miss Friends and Buffy, but I don’t think they could make a come back unless they changed the characters..they could come up with something similar though I’m sure. I really enjoyed Dead Like Me and True Calling and I’m sure they could have done more with these programs but I guess they were not popular enough.
