Last month I had a really bad reaction to a Face Mask that I used, especially underneath my Right Eye for some strange reason, so i’ve been diligently trying to fix the dry ,sore, irritated and wrinkled Skin that it left behind. That’s why when I saw in Nadine Baggott’s video that Garnier had released a Ultralift Anti-Age Green Tea & Hyaluronic Eye Tissue Sheet Mask that claims to hydrate as well as minimise Fine Lines and Wrinkles, I obviously had to give it a go. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Garnier say about their Ultralift Anti-Age Green Tea & Hyaluronic Acid Eye Tissue Sheet Mask.
If as you age Crows Feet or Fine Lines start to appear around your Eyes and your Eye Contours start to look tired and dull. This Tissue Mask leaves Fine Lines visibly smooth and firms the appearance of Eye Contours.
This Tissue Mask is infused with an ultra-light hydrating and refreshing formula, enriched with Green Tea Extract and Hyaluronic Acid.
It intensely hydrates, smoothes Eye Contours and reduces the appearance of Crows Feet and Fine Lines. Your Eye area will feel re-plumped and tighter.
Skin cooling effect, -4 ºC temperature decrease on the Skin after use. For an extra icy sensation, keep in the Fridge.
- Firms the appearance of Eye Contours.
- Crows Feet appear less visible.
- Instrumental test on 26 subjects.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Orange Juice, I thought that it had a very light and delicate yet ever so slightly alcoholic Green Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of the smell of a used Green Tea Tea Bag.
I absolutely loved it’s size, as even though it was an Under Eye Mask, it’s individual Patches were huge and actually managed to reach the Tip of my Nose.
I really liked it’s material, as even though it was a Sheet Mask, this was made out of an extremely strong Cotton like Tissue that felt really soft against my Skin.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had eventually removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to ever so slightly tingle for a good couple of seconds before it eventually calmed down and made my Under Eyes feel really cold. Then once it had made my Under Eyes feel really cold, it started to release lots of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Serum that set within a matter of seconds.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely brighter, much younger and healthier for at least an entire day after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines that are around the corners of my Eyes.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very secure feeling Plastic Pouch that kept the Mask really fresh and also meant that none of the Serum leaked anywhere.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Ultralift Anti-Age Green Tea & Hyaluronic Acid Eye Tissue Sheet Mask a nine point seven out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s light and delicate yet ever so slightly alcoholic Green Tea scent, it’s massive size, it’s material, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just thought that £3.99 was a little bit expensive for just one Under Eye Mask.
