The Superhero Of Blemished Skin | GlamGlow SuperMud® Clearing Treatment

My Skin can be really moody at times, as even though it’s usually Blemish free, a Spot in a really strange location like underneath one of my Eyes can sprout up overnight. That’s why when I had heard that GlamGlow had released a SuperMud® Clearing Treatment that claims to be their #1 Mud Mask, I obviously had to check it out. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A short cylindrical white Glass Jar with a white lid that has GlamGlow SuperMud® Clearing Treatment written in bold silver writing and a picture of a silver star on it next to a bright white octagonal shaped cardboard box that has GlamGlow written in bold black writing and SuperMud® Clearing Treatment written in bold black writing on it, on a white background.

Here’s what GlamGlow say about their SuperMud® Clearing Treatment.

We love it for.

  • Oiliness.
  • Blemishes.
  • Problem Skin.

Key benefits.

  • Clearing, visibly, instantly clears the complexion.
  • Clarifying, targets clogged Pores, excess Oil and dead Skin Cells.
  • Pore refining, Toxins and Dirt are removed from deep within the Pores.

This product tingles to let you know it is working. Skin may appear flushed for a short time. This is normal.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Kaolin, Mandelic Acid, Eucalyptus Leaf Extract, Tartaric Acid, Pyruvic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Eucalyptus Leaf Powder, Aloe Vera Juice, Licorice Root Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Ivy Extract, Comfrey Leaf Extract, Matricaria Extract, Peppermint Oil, Glycerin, and Marigold Extract,I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly minty scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dunked a sheet of Cardboard in an entire Bottle of Peppermint Oil.

It’s consistency.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Mud Mask , I thought that it felt really thick and creamy yet ever so slightly chunky, and was more like a really thick and creamy Night Cream with little chunks of Leaves in it rather than a thin and creamy Mud Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a really thick and creamy yet ever so slightly chunky Night Cream into a thin and creamy Mud Mask that set within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, clear, smooth and matte, but it also left it looking extremely radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that after I had used it directly on top of a Blemish, that it was more or less gone either after I had used it or the very next day.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really substantial feeling Glass Jar that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the GlamGlow SuperMud® Clearing Treatment an eight out of ten. I really liked what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly minty scent, or it’s thick and creamy yet ever so slightly chunky consistency. I also didn’t really think that it was worth it’s incredibly hefty price tag, as there’s plenty of other amazing Clearing Face Masks currently on the market that do a similar job at a fraction of the price.
