Super Affordable Specks | Glasses Shop Cancer Rectangular Burgundy Frames

As some of you may or may not know, I can’t read anything without wearing my glasses, and with me losing one of my pairs of glasses a couple of months ago, I now only have the one pair to wear. That’s why when the guys over at GlassesShop.com very kindly asked me if they could send me a pair of their gorgeous glasses to review, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been wearing them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

What is Glasses Shop?

Glasses Shop, is an affordable eyeglasses brand, that sells a wide range of both own brand prescription sunglasses and glasses online at incredibly low prices.

I was very kindly sent a pair of the Glasses Shop Cancer Burgundy Rectangular Frames with prescription lenses.

Here’s what Glasses Shop say about their Cancer Burgundy Rectangular Frames.

The Cancer Rectangular Burgundy Frames are made of superior Acetate, have a spring hinge, come in Black, Brown, Burgundy, or Tortoise, and are suitable for both men and women of all ages.

These classic frames are extremely comfortable, and are big enough for either single vision, bifocal, or progressive lenses.

Their material.

I really liked their material, as the frames felt really substantial when I held them in my hand, whilst still also strangely feeling incredibly lightweight when I was actually wearing them.

Their colour and design.

I really liked their colour and design, as I loved that the Burgundy stood out whilst still being subtile enough to go with whatever I wore. I also really liked their design, as the arms had little metal accents next to the hinges of them that made the frames look more expensive than they actually were.

Their size.

I didn’t really like their size, as even though the lenses were the perfect size for my face, the arms did need a little bit of an adjustment, but once I had taken them to my local Opticians, they did eventually fit perfectly.

Their lenses.

I had the frames fitted with my prescription, which with me having a visual impairment is pretty strong, and I was a little afraid that they wouldn’t be able to get them to the right intensity so that I would be able to see out of them. But luckily they did, and I can see out of them perfectly. Well, as perfectly as I can see, haha!.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as the frames came in  a gorgeous shiny clear glasses case with a microfibre cloth, that went brilliantly with the Silver accents of the frames. I did however notice that the glasses case had a few rough edges to it though, so i’m not sure how high quality it was.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Glasses Shop Cancer Rectangular Burgundy Frames, an eight point out of ten. I really liked their material, colour, design, and packaging, but I really didn’t like that I had to have them adjusted, and that the glasses case had a few rough edges to it. Other than that, I really liked them, and i’ll definitely be buying more Glasses Shop glasses very soon.
