I’m absolutely loving the influx of Korean Skincare lately. That’s why when I picked up one of the Jiinju Bubble Sheet Masks whilst I was out shopping a couple of weeks ago, I also managed to pick up one of their really cool-sounding Egg White Sheet Masks. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Jiinju say about their Egg White Sheet Mask.
How can Egg on your Face look this cute? Chok Chok is Korean and means to make oneself look handsome or the quest to find perfect glowing Egg-like Skin. Our Egg White Sheet Mask is the first step in your quest. It improves the look of Pores, extracts Sebum and makes Skin feel tighter.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Peony Root Extract, Sentella Asiatica Extract, Albumen Extract, and Matricaria Flower Extract, I thought that it had a very sweet and powdery yet ever so slightly chocolatey scent to it that kind of reminded me of Cake Batter mixed with Baby Powder.
I really liked it’s size, as unlike some of the other Sheet Masks that i’ve tried in the past. this one actually managed to fit my Face, as I didn’t have to bunch it up at the corners or stretch any of the Eye, Nose or Mouth holes.
I really liked it’s material ,as this was made out of a really thick Fibre Tissue that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when I tried to remove it from it’s packaging.
What it did when I used it.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I used it, as once I had finally managed to unfold it and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to slowly harden and eventually suctioned itself so close to my Skin that I felt really claustrophobic.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Face feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and matte, but it also left it looking extremely bright and radiant for a good couple of hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to slightly minimise some of the Pores that were around my Nose and Forehead.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really secure glossy Plastic Pouch which meant that as well as keeping the Mask really fresh, also meant that it’s Serum didn’t leak anywhere.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Jiinju Egg White Sheet Mask an eight out of ten. I really liked it’s sweet and powdery yet ever so slightly chocolatey scent, it’s material, it’s size, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately just didn’t like that it made me feel so claustrophobic when I used it.
