The Sensational Taste Of Fruit | Lindt Fruit Sensation Range

One of my many vices in life definitely has to be good quality Chocolate, especially from Lindt. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a range of three Fruit centred mini Truffles that include Blueberry & Acai , Orange & Pink Grapefruit, and Raspberry & Cranberry, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lindt store and pick them all up. Well i’ve been eating them all for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lindt say about all three delicious Truffles.

Their taste.

I really liked their taste, as even though they contained Dark Chocolate, Apple Juice, Apple Puree, Blueberry Puree, Blueberry Juice, Acai Juice, Elderberry Juice, and Lemon Juice, I thought that they had a delicious sweet and fruity yet  ever so slightly sour Blueberry taste to them that kind of reminded me of Blueberry Muffins. I also really liked that they had a really nice yet ever so slightly bitter aftertaste to them because of the Dark Chocolate that cut through all of the sweetness from the Blueberries brilliantly.

Their texture.

I really liked their texture, as even though they were described as having a soft Fruit centre, I thought that they were actually rather chewy, and strangely kind of reminded me of the Poppets that I used to eat when I was a child.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a massive resealable Plastic pouch that as well as keeping them extremely fresh also meant that they didn’t lose any of their delicious Blueberry flavour.

Their taste.

I really liked their taste, as even though they contained Dark Chocolate, Apple Juice, Orange Juice, Apple Puree, and Pink Grapefruit Juice, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and sharp citrusy taste to them that kind of reminded me of when you accidentally eat Orange Peel. I also really liked that they had an ever so slightly bitter aftertaste to them because of the Dark Chocolate that just added to their overall slightly bitter and Citrusy taste.

Their taste.

I really liked their taste, as even though they contained Dark Chocolate, Apple Puree, Raspberry Puree, and Cranberry Puree, I thought that they had a delicious sweet and fruity Berry taste to them that strangely kind of reminded me of Turkish Delight. I also really liked that they had a very slight bitter aftertaste to them because of the Dark Chocolate that just added to their overall delicious Berry taste.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lindt Fruit Sensation Blueberry & Acai an eight point five out of ten, the Lindt Fruit Sensation Orange & Pink Grapefruit an nine out of ten, and the Lindt Fruit Sensation Raspberry & Cranberry a nine point five out of ten. I absolutely loved the Lindt Fruit Sensation Blueberry & Acai, as I really liked their sweet yet ever so slightly bitter Blueberry taste, their really chewy texture, and their packaging, but I thought that they could have done with tasting a little bit more of Acai as I couldn’t really taste any of it. I absolutely loved the Lindt Fruit Sensation Orange & Pink Grapefruit, as I really liked their strong sweet and bitter citrusy taste, their really chewy texture, and their packaging, but I again thought that they could have done with tasting a little bit more of Pink Grapefruit as I couldn’t really taste any of it. I absolutely loved the Lindt Fruit Sensation Raspberry & Cranberry, as I really liked their sweet and fruity yet slightly bitter Berry taste, their really chewy texture, and their packaging, but I did think that it was a little bit strange that they were three times the size of the rest of the range.
