Luke Loves Christmas 2014 | Lush So White Bath Ballistic

Hi everyone, and welcome to another Luke Loves Christmas post.

Today, I’m going to talk all about a product from one of my favourite shops, yes, it’s Lush time.

The product I am going to talk about, is their So White Bath Ballistic.

If you haven’t heard of Lush, where have you been? Lush is a cosmetics company, who produce ecofriendly, cruelty free, and well just amazing bath bombs, soaps, shower gels, face masks, and so, so, much more.

The So White bath ballistic, Is described as a limited edition bath bomb, whos white snowy mist, will envelop you in a warm but delicate apple fragrance.

This ballistic also changes colour. Once the white mist dissolves, the So White then turns your water green, and after a while, it also turns red.

If you can’t see where it gets it’s name from, then obviously you have never read Snow White. I must add, it’s only loosely based on the story.

With its apple scent, and colour changing properties, I can see why people regard it so highly.

The smell is amazing. I was however, a little disappointed. The smell disappeared as quickly as I had dropped it in my bath. It had been sat on a shelf in my room for a couple of days, so that might have been why the smell went so quickly. It did however keep the room smelling fantastic, all be it, the smell of Lenor Fabric Conditioner, but I wasn’t complaining.

The colour changing freaked me out a little. The white mist, which I thought would turn everything bright white. It didn’t, it just gives you a nice dusting of white, kind of like snow. The white then disappears, and you’re left with a nice green bath. It’s the perfect kind of green, no weird mucky looking green though. Then, after about 10 to 15 minutes, it turns red. I must just say, it wasn’t really red, more orange, a bit like the Dragons Egg.

The thing about the colour changing I didn’t like, was the fact that once it goes green, the ball is still there floating in your bath. It kind of creeped me out. But other than that, the colour changing is awesome.

The bomb however doesn’t have any major skin changing properties. I mean, it doesn’t make your skin soft, but it’s a great bomb.

The price of this one, is £3.50. I can see why some people say Lush is overpriced, I know you can split them up. but then you end up with a crumbly mess that doesn’t work as they should.

My marks out of 10, would have to be 7.5. I love the smell, love the colours, but the fact it just stays there and the price kind of annoyes me. I will definitely be buying more however. Just as little treats. £3.50 is a lot for just one use.
