I’ll Save You Little Koala | Lush All The Wild Things Soap

One of the things that I love about Lush is their social responsibility. If they see a cause that needs some support, they usually release a product with all of the proceeds going towards their chosen Charity. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an All The Wild Things Soap with all of the proceeds going towards helping save Animals that have been effected by  the Australian Bush Fires, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what lush say about their All The Wild Things Soap.

We can only imagine the horror faced out in the Australian Bush by those who are going out searching for Animal Survivors amongst the estimated billion Creatures killed so far in the Fires. In recognition of the overwhelming tasked faced by this informal Animal Emergency Service, we have made All The Wild Things Soap. All proceeds from this limited edition Eucalyptus and Lemongrass Soap will go to Animal Rescue Groups providing emergency First Aid and rehabilitation as well as restoring the Habitat where the wild things were. Grab one now online or visit your local Lush shop. Let the wild things recovery start!

We have created the Bush Animal Fund, which all proceeds from the sale of this limited edition All The Wild Things Soap will be put towards. The Bush Animal Fund is now accepting grant requests from Grassroots Groups who are rescuing Animals from the Fire or restoring Habitats to help fund their work, whether now during the emergency, or for a longer term. Groups do not need to be Registered Charities to be eligible for funding, however our usual Charitable Giving Guidelines will apply.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Eucalyptus Infusion, Rapeseed Oil, Glycerine, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lemongrass Oil, and Peppermint Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly minty Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Lemonade outside on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it created a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly minty Lemon for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush All The Wild Things Soap a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly minty Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but even though it’s technically available all year round in the form of the Outback Mate Soap, I much prefer the Koala shape that this comes in as it’s just so cute.
