Getting A Tingly Feeling About The New Year | Lush All Year Round 2020 Range

I love the beginning of the year at Lush, as not only do they release their Valentines Day range, they also release some other amazing products that become part of their permanent range. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their All Year Round 2020 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Almond Blossom Shower Gel, a Tub of Tingle Body Conditioner, and a Jar of Unicorn Lip Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all three delicious smelling products.

The Almond Blossom Shower Gel.

The delicate Blossoms of Spring have been reimagined as a softening Shower Gel enriched with Almond Milk and the scent of sweet Marzipan. A triple dose of Almond comes courtesy of Fair Trade Almond Oil, Almond Milk and Almond Essential Oil and is rounded off with the woody warmth of Sandalwood and sweet Benzoin. Sulphate-free, this creates a gentle lather suitable for all Skins.

  • The Cherry Blossom Bubble Bar or the Cookie Dough Lip Scrub.
  • Gentle, soothing Showers to calm Skin and leave it feeling soft.

  • Rose Water calms and balances your Skin, helping to alleviate redness and irritation.

How to use.

Work on to your Body in the Shower and lather up before rinsing away.

The Tingle Body Conditioner.

The Almond Blossom Shower Gel.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Almond Milk, Rose Water, Fine Sea Salt, Xanthan Gum, Cedarwood Oil, Coriander Seed Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Almond Essential Oil, and Fair Trade Almond Oil, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive slice of Panettone.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Cream rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Cream into a thin and creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Jojoba Oil, Murumuru Butter, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Glycerin, Menthol Crystals, Peppermint Oil, Spearmint Oil, Grapefruit Oil, and Cassia Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly zesty Mint scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Stick of Wrigley’s Double Mint Chewing Gum.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Conditioner, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy Body Mask rather than a thick and creamy Body Conditioner.

It’s taste.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s taste, as even though it contained Castor Sugar, Organic Jojoba Oil, Popping Candy, and Organic Virgin Plum Oil, I thought that it had a very strange light and delicate yet ever so slightly fruity Plum scent to it that kind of reminded me of their Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Jar and had started to rub it against my Skin, it released lots of little shards of oily Sugar all over my Lips that eventually dissolved into a thin and buttery Lip Balm that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that as I was rubbing it against my Skin ,that it released little bits of Popping Candy that fizzed and crackled on my Tongue when I eventually licked it off.

It’s results.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s results, as even though it left my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth and bouncy after I had used it, I found that my Lips felt incredibly dry after about five minutes and I had to apply quite a lot of Lip Balm to stop them from completely drying out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Almond Blossom Shower Gel a nine out of ten, the Lush Tingle Body Conditioner a nine out of ten, and the Lush Unicorn Lip Scrub a five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Almond Blossom Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I would have just liked it to have smelt a little bit more of Almond. I really liked the Lush Tingle Body Conditioner, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and uplifting yet ever so slightly zesty Mint scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I did think that it was very overpriced for what was essentially just a Body Lotion that you wash off. I wasn’t really a massive fan of the Lush Unicorn Lip Scrub, as even though I really liked what it did when I used it, a Lip Scrub shouldn’t make my Lips feel that dry and rough right after i’ve used it.
