I’m Happy To See Snow On The Trees Again | Lush Christmas 2019 Range Shower Bombs, Shower Gel, Body Lotion & Soap

Some of the most interesting products from Lush definitely has to be all of their Shower Gels, Body Lotions and Soaps, as I love all of the different ways that they keep reinventing them. That’s why when I went to Lush Leeds Spa a couple of weeks ago to check out all of their Christmas 2019 range, I obviously had to stop by their Shower, Body Lotion and Soap Departments to check out all of their delicious smelling Christmas Shower Bombs, Shower Gels, Body Lotions and Soaps. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Polar Bear Nose Shower Bomb, the Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb, a Bottle of the Happy Shower Gel, a Tub of the Snowflake Body Lotion, and a block of the Snow Apple Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all five delicious smelling products.

The Polar Bear Nose Shower Bomb.

Ice smell something good! Under the heat of the Shower, this refreshing tundra of Eucalyptus and Siberian Pine Oil clears your Mind, and your Nose, to help you keep your cool. A bracing flurry of Activated Charcoal, Epsom Salts and Menthol Crystals swirl across the Skin for a deep cleanse and relieves achy Muscles. Take a deep breath and get carried away on this Winter Breeze as you inhale the comforting Sandalwood core, here to warm your Soul as the Sun warms the Snow.

The Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb.

Rudolph with your Nose so bright, wont you soften my Skin tonight? Wash with this Cherry and Almond Shower Bomb and enjoy smokey Cedarwood and Sweet Almond Essential Oil. Work over your Body in the Shower and glow, glow, glow thanks to cleansing Sicilian Lemon Oil, as Potato Starch and Sodium Alginate provide a rich, creamy lather. You’ll go down in tranquility thanks to Ho Wood Oils relaxing fragrance.

The Happy Shower Gel.

This season, may all your Showers be merry and bright! Inside this Tinsle-tastic concoction, a juicy blend of Lemon and Sweet Wild Orange Oil awaits to help you wash away those Winter Blues, while Neroli Oil blends with Walnut Leaf and Dandelion Root Infusion to lift the spirits for the hap-happiest Shower of all, but don’t just feel happy, let it show! Twinkle and shine with an iridescent Plastic Free sparkle that brings so much Christmas cheer it’ll put your Fairy Lights to shame.

The Snowflake Body Lotion.

There’s Snow need to fear the ravages of Winter when this luxurious Body Lotion is on your side. A light-weight Cream with a triple dose of Almond thanks to softening Almond Milk, moisturising Fair Trade Almond Oil and sweet-scented Almond Essential Oil. Add to that a splash of soothing Rose Water, cosy Benzoin and delicate Sandalwood and you’ve got the perfect tonic to quench the thirst of Winter parched Skin. Evocative of the first Snow of the year, dive into this glistening Pot of Marzipan scented magic and get it all over your Body.

The Snow Apple Soap.

In a magical Orchard far, far away, you may witness a curious phenomenon. Rainwater freezes around Apples in ice cold temperatures, and once the Fruit falls through the bottom an Ice Sculpture is left behind like crystals hanging from the Trees. This mystical Apple wont send you into a slumber. A Soap base with a fairytale cast of Olive Oil, Cocoa Butter and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil grant Skin a Winter wish. Be enticed by uplifting Bergamot, Neroli and Organic Apple Juice, as every wash lavishes you in a refreshing shimmery lather.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Epsom Salt, Sodium Alginate, Sandalwood Oil, Siberian Pine Oil, Eucalyptus Blue Oil, Activated Charcoal, and Menthol Crystals, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Field of Violets at the beginning of Spring.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds, it started to release lots of thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Foam that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Violet for at least half an hour after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Potato Starch, Sodium Alginate, Cedarwood oil, Ho Wood Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, and Almond Essential Oil, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Lemon Bakewell Tart.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon for at least half an hour after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Walnut Leaf and Dandelion Root Infusion, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Neroli Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Carrageenan Extract, and Xanthan Gum, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had pored a massive Glass of Capri-Sun over a Bouquet of Flowers.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Shower Cream rather than a thin and watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Shower Cream into a thin and frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Orange for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A small circular puddle of some bright white body lotion, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Almond Milk, Apricot Kernel Oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Rose Water, Glycerin, Organic Illipe Butter, Fair Trade Almond Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Coriander Seed Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Almond Essential Oil, and Tincture Of Benzoin, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive slice of Panettone.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Lotion, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Body Lotion.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds. I however wasn’t really a massive fan of that it took quite a long time to eventually set though, as it meant that I couldn’t get dressed right away after I had used it.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Clear Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Olive Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Fresh Apple Juice, Bergamot Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Rose Absolute, Orange Flower Absolute, and Neroli Oil, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly fruity Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into an Apple.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to create a really thick and creamy lather that spread really easily across my Hands. I however wasn’t really a massive fan of that all of it’s Silver Lustre came off in my Hands the first time that I used it though, and that it also left little puddles of bright Green Oil all over my Windowsill whenever I used it.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly fruity Apple for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Polar Bear Nose Shower Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Happy Shower Gel a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Snowflake Body Lotion a nine out of ten, and the Lush Snow Apple Soap an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Polar Bear Nose Shower Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly medicinal Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but given that it contained Siberian Pine Oil and Eucalyptus Blue Oil, it would have been nice to have actually been able to smell them. I really liked the Lush Rudolph Nose Shower Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it smelt a little bit more of Almond. I really liked the Lush Happy  Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral scent. I really liked the Lush Snowflake Body Lotion, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Marzipan scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but given that it contained three different types of Almond it would have been nice if it had actually smelt a little bit more of Almonds. I really liked the Lush Snow Apple Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and crisp yet ever so slightly fruity Apple scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of that it’s Silver Lustre came off the second that I used it and that it left little Green puddles all over my Windowsill.
