Living My Best Cuban Life | Lush Cuba Libre Mouthwash Tabs

One of the products from Lush that always impresses me definitely has to be their Mouthwash Tabs, as I love how they’ve managed to turn a very boring every day task into something that I actually enjoy doing. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Oral Care Department to check out all of the delicious tasting exclusive Mouthwash Tabs that they had on offer. Well after giving everything a little taste, I eventually picked up the Cuba Libre MouthWash Tabs, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about their Cuba Libre Mouthwash Tabs.

The Rum and Cola taste of this Mouthwash will dance across your Tongue with Cuban flavours. Inspired by the ever popular Cocktail, this blend packs all the punch without the Sugar. Lime Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Clove Bud Oil step onto the dancefloor to refresh the Breath and kick bacteria to the curb, while Gotu Kola, a very special Herb which is regarded as one of the most important in Ayurvedic Medicine, is used especially for its regenerative properties. Each Tab is also rolled in Activated Charcoal, perfect for deep-cleansing the Mouth and neutralising odours – great if you’re a fan of Cigars… or even if you’re not!

Their taste.

I absolutely loved their taste, as even though they contained Glycerin, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Stevia, Activated Charcoal, Lime Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Menthol Crystals, and Gotu Cola Herb, I thought that they had a sweet and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola taste to them that kind of reminded me of drinking an Ice Cold Glass of Rum and Cola on a hot Summer’s day.

Their consistency.

I really liked their consistency, as even though they were called a Mouthwash Tab, I thought that they felt really soft and crumbly yet ever so slightly crunchy, and were more like a soft and crumbly yet ever so slightly crunchy piece of Biscuit rather than a hard and crunchy Mouthwash Tab.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had crunched one of them between my Teeth and had added a little bit of Water, the crumbled up pieces slowly started to dissolve until I was eventually left with a Mouth full of delicious Rum and Cola flavoured Mouthwash.

Their results.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my entire Mouth feeling incredibly squeaky clean and my Breath feeling really fresh, but they also left my Teeth looking much whiter and brighter too.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a short and flat rounded rectangular Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Cuba Libre Mouthwash Tabs a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved their sweet and sour yet ever so slightly fizzy Rum & Cola taste, their consistency, what they did when I used them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wish that they were a little bit easier to get hold of as i’ll definitely be buying more of them very soon.
