I absolutely love a good Exfoliating Face & Body Mask, as I love how well they cleanse and exfoliate my Skin. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released a Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Mask whilst I was out shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Lush say about their Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Mask.
Just around the corner there’s a Rainbow in the Sky. So let’s have another Cup o’ Coffee and let’s have another piece o’ Pie! If you’re a sucker for the strong, dark, stimulating type, take a shot of this Coffee Infusion filled Mask to your Face. Wake up and invigorate your Skin with the rich aroma of freshly brewed Coffee. Roasted Cocoa Extract, Vetivert and Coriander Oil combines to create an addictive fragrance. Smooth over your Face and Body, leave for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water for your daily fix!
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Agave Syrup, Kaolin, Coffee Infusion, Ground Coffee, Bentone Gel, Vetivert Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Roasted Cocoa Extract, Coriander Oil, and Caffeine Powder, I thought that it had a very strong deep and musky yet ever so slightly sour burnt Coffee scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had set a Coffee Shop on Fire.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face & Body Mask, I thought that it felt really thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like a thick and gloopy Body Scrub rather than a thick and heavy yet ever so slightly creamy Face & Body Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from a thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty Body Scrub into a thin and balmy Face & Body Mask that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that it didn’t flake off as I was using it, and that when I started to remove it that it turned into an incredibly gritty Face & Body Scrub that exfoliated my Skin incredibly well.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and matte, but it also left it looking extremely clear, glowing and radiant too.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Mask an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results. Vut I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strong deep and musky yet ever so slightly sour burnt Coffee scent, as I find that the smell of Coffee tends to give me a massive Headache whenever I smell it.
