God Is Definitely A Woman | Lush Goddess Bath Bomb

As some of you probably already know, a couple of weeks ago I went to the Lush Showcase 2018 . Well whilst I was there, I managed to pick up one of the Ariana Grande inspired Goddess Bath Bombs, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A hollowed spherical dark purple bath bomb covered in some Silver Lustre, on a white background.

Here’s what Lush say about their Goddess Bath Bomb.

Heavenly scent, Jasmine Absolute seduces you into Lilac and Silver waters, while the darkness of Oudh and the richness of Sandalwood keep you there lingering a little longer. Precious ingredients for a true Goddess, lifting your Mind to a higher Plane.

As each layer unfolds and Sodium Bicarbonate sends colours swirling, something divine happens to your Body. Feel your Muscles warming, feel your Blood pumping, feel your strength!

Legend says Cleopatra bathed in Milk, but a true Goddess bathes in Butters. Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter and Shea butter melt into creamy waters, then a skin-softening slick of liquid gold Argan Oil, a holy trinity of moisturisation. Behind the Shea and Argan are stories of empowered women’s groups in Ghana and Morocco. Not age-old legends of celestial beings, but real stories from Planet Earth of building communities and defending the natural world.

Do you believe God is a Woman?

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Jasmine Absolute, Osmanthus Absolute, Rose Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Oudh Oil, Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Shea Butter, and Argan Oil, I thought that it had a very sweet yet ever so slightly musky floral Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Jasmine Plant on a warm Summer’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of thick white foam all over the surface of the Water that turned my Bath a gorgeous milky White colour. Then after a couple more seconds, it released streams of beautiful Silver and Purple that eventually blended together with the White Foam to turn my Bath Water a gorgeous shimmering Pastel Violet colour.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly moisturised and looking extremely glowing, but it also left it smelling of sweet yet ever so slightly musky floral Jasmine that lasted for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Goddess Bath Bomb a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s extremely sweet yet ever so slightly musky floral Jasmine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I did think that the amount of Glitter and Lustre that it was coated in was a little bit over the top.
