And A Partridge In A Golden Pear Tree | Lush Golden Pear Bath Bomb & Golden Pear Body Spray

One of my favourite Lush Christmas products, definitely has to be the Golden Pear Soap. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Golden Pear Bath Bomb and a Golden Pear Body Spray, I obviously had to hop onto their website and pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both incredible smelling products.

The Golden Pear Bath Bomb.

If things turn Pear-shaped, look to this fresh and fruity Bath Bomb to lift your spirits. Invigorating Cardamom Oil infuses the Steam with notes of spiced Fruits while zesty Brazilian Orange Oil clears the Mind. A reassuringly warm, woody aroma grounds this sweet Pear, settling busy thoughts.

The Golden Pear Body Spray.

Crisp and ripe with a heady Sandalwood soul; try this sparkling Pear Perfume on for size. The anticipation of Champagne and uncut Fruit meets spicy Cardamom, Musk and Mimosa. Savour the first fluffy Pear Drop notes as they evolve on the warmth of your Skin into something deeper, darker and most delectable. Will you bite?

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Cardamom Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Fair Trade Shea Butter, and Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Spiced Pear Pudding fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of vibrant Orange all over the surface of the Water, and then after a minute or so, it released streams of creamy White Foam that eventually blended with the vibrant Orange to turn my entire Bath a beautiful shimmering Peach colour. I also really liked that once it had all dissolved, that it left behind a layer of Oils that eventually melted into the Water to make it feel really silky and soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft and moisturised because of all of the Oils , but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear for hours after I had used it.

I did however think that it had an overwhelming smell of Alcohol to it when I first sprayed it though, but that totally disappeared after a second or so of me wearing it.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Skin and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it when I was eating Lunch at about midday.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle with a lockable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Golden Pear Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, and the Lush Golden Pear Body Spray a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Golden Pear Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Pear scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I would have just preferred it to have smelt a little bit more of Pear.
