I’m In Love And It’s A Sunny Day | Lush Good Day Sunshine Soap

I can easily Wash my Hands at least twenty times a day ,which means that I go through a Block of Soap really quickly. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Soap Department to check out all of the delicious smelling exclusive Soaps that they had on offer. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Good Day Sunshine Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Good Day Sunshine Soap.

The forecast looks sunny with this citrus Soap featuring a Bath Bomb topping and speckled with Chia Seeds to leave Skin bright and beautifully buffed.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Glycerin, Organic Castor Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Lime Oil, Neroli Oil, Silken Tofu, Chia Seeds, and Agar Agar, I thought that it had an incredibly fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sherberty Lemon Lime scent to it that kind of reminded me of Lemon and Lime Fruit Chews.

What it did when I used it.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of what this did when I first used it, but after I had been using it for a little while, it actually started to grow on me, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds it slowly started to ever so slightly fizz and foam up like a Shower Bomb would do. Then when I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Serum with little pieces of grit in it that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sherberty Lemon Lime for at least ten minutes after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Good Day Sunshine Soap a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly sherberty Lemon Lime scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just thought that it was a little bit strange that it fizzed and foamed up like a Shower Bomb whenever I held it under some running Water as it’s not something that you expect a block of Soap to do.

If you would like to check out the Lush Good Day Sunshine Soap for yourselves, then you can find it in the Soap Department of the Lush Liverpool Spa store.

  1. Squeaky clean …intensely moisturised . Seems a bit of an oxymoron .
