One of my favourite products from Lush definitely has to be their Face Jellies, but unfortunately they don’t release that many of them anymore. That’s why when I went to Lush Liverpool Spa a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to stop by their Face Care Department to check out all of the exclusive Face Care that they had on offer. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Lemon Verbena Face Wash Fresh Jelly, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Lush say about their Lemon Verbena Face Wash Fresh Jelly.
Wake up to a whole new World of Face Wash, one that bursts with vivaciousness and uses only the very best fresh, most naturally wholesome ingredients the World has to offer. Presented in a kicky wedge of real Orange Peel, this is the Wash to pounce on for a sweet, sophisticated scent full of zesty zip that’s sure to shake off sleepy Fog. Unlike other Face Washes you may have flirted with in the past, this one has a little jiggle in it’s wiggle made from conditioning Carrageenan Extract taken from exuberantly softening Irish Moss Seaweed. Fresh Lemon Juice collides in a citrus crescendo with fresh Grapefruit for a sparkling cleanse that welcomes a healthy shine. Luscious Lemon Verbena Infusion sweeps in to tone siring a ravishingly radiant complexion.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Lemon Verbena Infusion, Carrageenan Extract, Bergamot Oil, Lime Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Fresh Lemon Juice, and Fresh Grape Juice, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly powdery Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you zest a Lemon.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Jelly, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and bouncy, and was more like a soft and bouncy piece of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Face Jelly.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Face Wash that spread really easily across my Face.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, bouncy and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing and radiant for hours after I had used it.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came wrapped in a piece of Orange Peel that made it extremely easy to hold so that it didn’t slip out of my Hand whilst I was using it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Lemon Verbena Face Wash Fresh Jelly a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly powdery Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was a little bit easier to get hold of as i’ll definitely be buying more of it very soon.
