Lush So White and Hot Toddy Shower Gel Review

Hi all my wonderful readers, how is everyone today?

After Christmas, I did quite a lot of damage to my cash card. If you want to see what I bought, check out my #BlindGuyAdventures | Christmas Weekend Madness | The Haul under my videos section.

Now, during this little spending spree, I managed to pick up a few products from the Lush Christmas range. Now that i’ve been using them for quite a while, I thought it was time for a little review.

I managed to grab, two of their lovely Christmas shower gelss. One in So White, and the other, in Hot Toddy.

So White Shower Gel

I’ve already done a review of the So White Bath Ballistic, so I won’t go on about this one for too long.

The So White, more or less smells exactly like the bath bomb. It’s very fresh, really crisp, and of course reeks of apples. I still think it smells like Lenor Fabric Conditioner, someone please tell me they think the same. When I say it, people seem to think i’ve gone crazy.

I’m absolutely in love with this. I think it’s mainly because of the scent. It lingers for ages. When I used this for the first time, the entire upstairs of my house smelt of apples, uhh it was divine.

The So White, also comes with a very beautiful shiny silver glitter. Now, I was a little worried that I would come out of the bathroom looking like a 1970’s discoball, but apparently there’s some kind of special oil that keeps the glitter contained, and most of all, it makes it easier for the glitter to come off of your skin.

Out of 10, I would have to give this a very good, 9. I’m absolutely in love with the scent. I am really glad I managed to pick it up in the sale, because there’s no way I would pay full price for this. I love it, but I wouldn’t pay £15 for it. Other than that, I can’t fault it. In fact when christmas rolls around next year, i’m likely going to buy my local Lush stores entire So White stock.

Hot Toddy Shower Gel

I also managed to grab a bottle of their Hot Toddy.

For anyone who doesn’t know. Hot Toddy, is a mix of lemon, and ginger. Now, I do kind of smell the lemon and ginger, but to me it also strangely smells like a really cheap supermarket own brand cola. As with the So White, people look at me as if i’m mental, but trust me, that’s what it smells of.

As with the So White, the Hot Toddy comes with a glitter, in this one you get a extremely cool looking gold glitter. Like the So White, this is also made from the very special oil, so there’s no looking like a 1970’s discoball with this one either.

When I used this, the smell kind of changed for me. It went from smelling like a cheap cola, to smelling like chai tea. The whole house reeked of chai tea, and I for one don’t think that’s a bad thing, got to love me some chai tea, uh.

Out of 10, I would have to give this one a 8.5. I love it, but i’m more of a sweeter scents kind of person when it comes to shower gels, rather than a hot and spicy. Other than that, it’s incredible, and i’ll definitely be buying more.

Did you manage to pick up either of these amazing shower gels? If so, please let me know. Also, why not share your favourite Lush product. It’ll give me future buying ideas, not that I really need any encouragement to buy more Lush products.
