A Drop Will Never Pass My Lips | Lush Tea Totaler Cleansing Balm

As some of you probably already know, a couple of weeks ago I went to the Lush Showcase 2018, and whilst I was there I managed to pick up one of their Tea Totaler Cleansing Balms. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Tea Totaler Cleansing Balm.

Keep Skin clear, calm and balanced with this blend of hardworking Oils including Castor Oil, which works with your Skin’s natural Oil production to keep your complexion happy and healthy. Add a host of helpful herbal antibacterials, including Tea Tree, Sage and Rosemary and you’re all set for clear, contented Skin. Melt between your Fingers before massaging over your Skin or simply glide the bar over your Face, then wipe away with a damp Face Cloth. As a bonus, adding Water activates a toning phase composed of Witch Hazel, Spring Water and hand-harvested Sea Salt to clarify and lightly hydrate.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Caster Oil, Safflower Oil, Witch Hazel, Sunflower Wax, Japan Wax, Lemongrass Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Thyme Oil, and Hand Harvested Sea Salt, I thought that it had an extremely citrusy yet ever so slightly grassy medicinal scent to it that kind of reminded me of Tea Tree mixed with Lemon and Green Tea.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was essentially just a block of Oil, I thought that it felt really thick and balmy yet ever so slightly powdery, and was more like a thick and balmy Facial Serum rather than a thin and balmy Cleansing Balm.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had slightly dampened it and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly powdery Facial Serum into a light and oily Cleansing Balm that spread really easily across my Skin.

Its results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling squeaky clean, soft, moisturised and toned, but it also left it looking really plump, clear and hydrated.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Tea Totaler Cleansing Balm an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s extremely citrusy yet ever so slightly grassy medicinal scent, it’s thick and balmy yet ever so slightly powdery consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I did think that it was a little bit overpriced for it’s size as it was only about the size of a two pound Coin…
