Cherish The Ones You Love | Lush Valentines Day 2018 Range

As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases anything new. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Valentines Day 2018 range, I of course had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up the Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon and the Cherryish Body Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about both amazing smelling products.

The Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon.

Love, how better to describe it than two vivid Red Hearts sandwiched together with Creamy, skin-softening Organic Shea Butter?

Shall I compare thee to a Bubbleroon?

thou art handmade with a scent so fresh and light.

Rough winds do shake and make my young Heart swoon.

And bathing with you makes our love feel right.

Crumble beneath a nice hot running tap.

And watch the bubbles foam and grow and rise.

Whether you met in town or on an app.
Jump in a bath and look deep into their Eyes.

A cheeky scent that makes your warm Heart sing.

You can detect a whiff of floral Rose.

You hark right back to young love’s dream this Spring.

As Bergamot rises and fills your Nose.

So long as scent exists or Eyes can see.

Our Whole Lotta Love gives life to me.

The Cherryish Body Scrub.

Romeo and Juliet, they never felt this way I bet, but they didn’t have this Chocolate and Cherry delight to keep things smoothed over. Cherish skin with a moisturising scrub of fair trade Organic Cocoa Butter and fine Sea Salt. As you stroke this mouth-watering handful over wet skin, a second helping of grounded Cherry stones help to get the blood flowing. With warm and uplifting Cocoa Absolute and and a touch of Sweet Almond essential oil, you’ll be asking for more, more, more!

The Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Rose Absolute, Jasmin Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute, Bergamot Oil, and Lemongrass Oil, I thought that they all blended together to create a delicious rich and buttery yet slightly floral Lemon scent, that kind of reminded me of eating Cream Cakes and sipping freshly made Lemonade during Summer. I also really liked that this shared it’s scent with the recently discontinued Fizz Banger Bath Bomb, as it used to be one of my favourite Bath Bombs.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled some under some running water and had let my bath fill all the way to the top, it eventually turned my bath water a gorgeous shimmering deep Red colour and created so many shimmering pastel Pink bubbles that it looked like I was bathing in a bath of Candy Floss.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as even though it was a Bubble Bar, because it also had a layer of Butter Cream in the middle of it, it left my skin feeling incredibly silky soft without feeling at all greasy. I also loved that it’s rich ad buttery yet slightly floral Lemon scent lasted on my skin for a good couple of hours after I had gotten out of the bath, as well as in the bathroom itself for at least half an hour afterwards.

The Cherryish Body Scrub.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained fine Sea Salt, fair trade Cocoa Butter, ground Cherry Stones, dried Cherries, vegan White Chocolate, Cocoa Absolute, and Sweet Almond Oil, I thought that they all blended together to create a deliciously decadent Chocolate and Cherry Cake scent that kind of reminded me of drinking a Costa Black Forest Hot Chocolate at Christmas.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to swipe it across my Body, a little bit of the Cocoa Butter started to melt and release little pieces of extremely fine Sea Salt where ever I had swiped it. I did however notice that it melted rather quickly when I used it though, so I found that it was better to swipe it onto the area that I wanted to exfoliate and then massage whatever it had left behind into my skin rather than swiping it all over my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this get rid of any dead skin that I had because of all of the fine Sea Salt and ground Cherry Stones, but as it also contained quite a lot of Cocoa Butter, it left my skin feeling extremely soft and intensely moisturised without feeling at all greasy.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon an eight out of ten, and the Lush Cherryish Body Scrub a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Whole Lotta Love Bubbleroon, as I absolutely loved it’s rich and buttery yet slightly floral Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and that it left my skin feeling so nice, but I did think that it was a little on the small side, as I only managed to get a total of two baths out of it. I absolutely loved the Lush Cherryish Body Scrub, as I really couldn’t get enough of it’s delicious Black Forest scent, what it did when I used it, and that it left my skin looking and feeling amazing, but I did think that it melted far too quickly for my liking.
