One Day My Prince Will Come | Lush Valentines Day 2020 Range

As you probably already know, I absolutely love it whenever Lush releases anything new. That’s why when I had heard that they had released their Valentines Day 2020 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Love Boat Bath Bomb, a Bottle of Prince Charming Shower Gel, a Naked Attraction Massage Bar, and a block of Peachy Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what lush say about all four delicious smelling products.

        The Love Boat Bath Bomb.

        It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sicilian Lemon Oil, Organic Sweet orange Oil, Rose Oil, Cream of Tartar, and Glycerin, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of sitting under an Orange Tree during Summer.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful vibrant Blue, Pink and Gold Lustre all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a beautiful shimmering Pastel Pink colour.

        It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy and moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Orange for at least an hour after I had used it.

      • A small circular puddle of dark red shower gel, on a white background.

        The Prince Charming Shower Gel.

        It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Marshmallow Root and Vanilla Pod Infusion, Glycerin, Grapefruit Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Geranium Oil, Fresh Pomegranate Juice, and Carrageenan Extract, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pomegranate scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Box of Pomegranate Turkish Delight.

        It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Shower Cream rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Shower Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

        It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pomegranate for hours after I had used it.

        It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

        • A large bright yellow body shaped massage bar, on a white background.

          The Naked Attraction Massage Bar.

          It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Jasmine Absolute, Mimosa Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, and Osmanthus Absolute, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat near a Jasmine Plant drinking a really fruity Cocktail during Summer.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and oily yet ever so slightly balmy Body Oil that spread really easily across my Body.

          It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, bouncy, plump and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine that lasted for at least thirty minutes after I had used it.

        • A large circular bright pink Peach shaped block of soap with a green stork coming out of the top of it, on a white background.

A picture of the Lush Peachy Soap.

          The Peachy Soap.

          It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Fresh Peach Decoction, Glycerin, Grapefruit Oil, Davana Oil, Elemi Oil, Tagetes Oil, and Fresh Peach Juice, I thought that it had a delicious light and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Peach scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking Peach Bellinis during Spring.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it created a really thin and creamy lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

          It’s results.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s results, as even though it left my Skin smelling of delicious light and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Peach for at least ten minutes after I had used it, I found that it left my Hands feeling very dehydrated as I had to apply quite a lot of Hand Cream to stop them from completely drying out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Love Boat Bath Bomb a seven point five out of ten, the Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel a nine out of ten, the Lush Naked Attraction Massage Bar an eight out of ten, and the Lush Peachy Soap a seven point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Love Boat Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit stronger. I really liked the Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Pomegranate scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Pomegranate. I really liked the Lush Naked Attraction Massage Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Jasmine scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it hadn’t come in such a suggestive shape as I found it very difficult to handle after it had started to melt. I really liked the Lush Peachy Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious light and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Peach scent, and what it did when I used it, but I just wish that it had made my Hands feel a little bit more moisturised.

  1. I love Lush products but haven’t had chance to check out their 2020 Valentine’s Day range yet. The Love Boat and Peach soap are now both on my shopping list, great review! Regarding storage, what do you store yours in? I have issues of mine sweating in the Lush bags.

  2. Oh man, these Lush products sound heavenly! And I am still laughing about that Naked Attraction one. 😛
I just checked Lush and it seems they also have a webshop (or something thereabouts)! Yay, as I cannot enter a Lush store due to the overwhelming smells (I always have to sneeze or cough when I pass a store).
