My Current Morning & Evening Skincare Routine | March 2019

One of my goals for 2019 was to achieve some kind of a regular Skincare routine, as with me reviewing so many different products on a weekly basis, I don’t really have one. Well i’ve managed to find a Routine that i and more importantly my Skin is happy with, and I thought that I would tell you all about it.

This will probably change at some point, as i’m always finding new products that I love, but as long as I use a good Cleanser, some kind of an Acid Toner, and a decent Facial Serum, my Skin is happy.

Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling, here’s my current Morning and Evening Skincare Routine.

My morning Skincare Routine.

The first thing that I do is Cleanse my Face with the Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser and then Tone with either the Pixi Glow Tonic or The Ordinary 7% Toning Solution as they both contain Glycolic Acid, which is great at adding moisture to my Skin whilst also getting rid of any dead Skin Cells. I then apply a little bit of either The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane or The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics as they’re both incredibly light-weight moisturising Serums that set within a matter of seconds. I then move onto my Under Eyes and apply a very tiny amount of the Kiehls Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate, but if I haven’t had a great night’s Sleep and my Under Eyes look really puffy, I will mix in a little bit of The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG to try and de-puff them. I then apply quite a lot of Beard Oil, as it not only leaves my Beard feeling incredibly soft, but it also hydrates and softens the Skin underneath and around it. Depending on how my Beard is feeling, I will either use the Admiral Grooming Nourishing Beard Oil, the Schwarzkopf Got2B Phenomenal Beard Oil, the Bulldog Skincare Original Beard Oil, or the ThatchFace Got Wood Beard Oil. I then use my Beard Comb to style it and use either the Admiral Grooming Conditioning Deluxe Beard Balm or the Bulldog Skincare Original Beard Balm to lock it into place. I then spray a liberal amount of one of the many Fragrances from my ever growing Fragrance Collection, and i’m done.

My evening Skincare Routine.

The first thing that I do is cleanse my Face with the Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse as it’s Oil side removes any of the nasty things like Pollution that has gotten on to my Skin throughout the day whilst it’s Cream side hydrates and softens it, or if i’m feeling lazy I will use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, as I don’t need to be near a Sink to use it and it’s better than just using a Face Wipe. I will then Tone using the Lush Breath Of Fresh Air Toning Water or The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + AHA if i’m trying to get rid of some kind of a breakout. I then apply a little bit of The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane or The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 as they are a lot more  thicker and hydrating than the Serums that I used earlier. I then move on to my Beard, and apply some of the Beard Oil that I used in the morning, as I want to keep my Beard and the Skin underneath and around it  nice and hydrated whilst i’m asleep, and i’m done.

What I use throughout the rest of the week.

I also like to use a lot of Face Masks throughout the week, because depending on how my Skin is feeling, they can usually be a quick fix to a massive problem.  Some of my favourites are the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks as they’re incredibly hydrating, the GlamGlow ThirstyMud™ Hydrating Treatment, as I can leave it on overnight, and The Ordinary 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution, as all of it’s Acid gets rid of any dead Skin Cells that I might have and leaves my Face feeling incredibly soft.

There you go, that’s everything that I use on a daily and weekly basis to keep my Skin looking and feeling it’s best.
