Outfit Of The Day | Smart But Still Casual

I usually live in Jeans and a T-Shirt, but lately i’ve been trying to inject a few more styles, fabrics, and smarter looks into my wardrobe. I mean, I don’t think I could pull of wearing a suit just yet, but you never know, of course if I ever did, it would have to be a bright colour. You know me and my colours haha!

Me sat on a garden chair.

A picture of me sat on a garden chair wearing a shirt, a tie, a pocket square, a pair of chinos, and a pair of black boots.

Anyway, from head to toe, here’s my smart but still casual outfit.

Me wearing a pink shirt, a red tie. a red pocket square, and a pair of cufflinks.

A picture of me wearing the Williams & Brown Pink Long Sleeved Oxford Shirt, the Frederick Thomas Plain Red Knitted Tie, the Frederick Thomas Red Knitted Pocket Square, and the Larkin Author Cufflinks.

Williams & Brown Pink Long Sleeved Oxford Shirt from Jacamo. I love the cut and feel of this. The fabric is extremely light. It’s perfect for when it gets warmer, and I absolutely love the colour.

Frederick Thomas plain Red Knitted Tie with Pointed End from Frederick Thomas. I love the hand made feel of this. I can tell that someone put a lot of time and effort into creating it. I rarely wear a tie, but after wearing this i’m definitely going to be picking up a few more. I think the bright red colour can give a somewhat simple looking outfit, an added pop of colour.

Frederick Thomas Red Knitted Pocket Square with White Trim from Frederick Thomas. I’ve never worn a pocket square, and I had no idea how to fold it, but hopefully it looks ok. I think this really compliments the tie. I also like that is also hand made.

Larkin Author Silver Plated Cufflinks from Larkin. I love the feel and weight of these. They’re not too heavy, and they don’t clink on my wrists. I also love the names of authors that are on the cufflink faces.

Me wearing a pair of navy coloured chinos.

A picture of me wearing a pair of the Burton Navy Slim Chinos and a black belt.

Burton Navy Slim Chinos from Burton. These go with basically everything, and are a great alternative to my Jeans. I love the softness of the material. Definitely going to have to pick up a few more of these.

A picture of me wearing a pair of black leather boots.

A picture of me wearing the Base London Black Spy Chucker Boots.

Base London Black Spy Chucker Boots from Schuh. These are my go to boots. I love the pointed toe to these, as they make them look smart without being too smart. They’re also really comfy to walk around in all day.

There you go. That’s my smart but still casual outfit of the day.
