As you probably already know, I absolutely love discovering new and interesting Face Masks. That’s why when I had heard that Pixi had released a Glow Glycolic Boost which is one of their first ever Sheet Masks, I obviously had to give it a go. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Pixi say about their Glow Glycolic Boost.
An instant brightening and hydrating effect Sheet Mask.
- Serum concentrate of Glycolic Acid brightens, while Herbal Extracts help to improve and maintain Skin’s health promoting more luminous Skin.
- Store in the Fridge for a refreshing and de-puffing effect.
- Microfibre Sheet Mask is biodegradable.
- Box contains 3X individual Sheet Masks.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycolic Acid, Red Ginseng Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract,Cucumber Extract, Chestnut Seed Extract, Basil Seed Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, Alba Bark Extract, and Anise Fruit Seed Extract, I thought that it had a very light and watery yet ever so slightly floral scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past the Water Features section of a Garden Centre.
I really liked it’s size, as unlike some of the other Sheet Masks that i’ve tried in the past, this one actually managed to fit my Face perfectly, as I didn’t have to bunch it up around any of the Eye, Nose or Mouth holes.
I really liked it’s material, as this was made out of a really thin but durable Microfibre Cloth that felt really soft against my Skin, and didn’t rip when I tried to remove it from it’s packaging..
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had removed it from it’s packaging and had smoothed it across my Face, it started to release quite a lot of thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Facial Serum that set within a matter of minutes. I also really liked that as the Facial Serum set, that it secured the Sheet Mask to my Face so that I could move around without worrying that it was going to fall off.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, hydrated and bouncy, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and healthier too.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really thick and secure Plastic Pouch inside a thick Cardboard Box that meant that it didn’t lose any of it’s freshness and that the Serum didn’t leak anywhere.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Pixi Glow Glycolic Boost a nine out of ten. I really liked it’s light and watery yet ever so slightly floral scent, it’s size, it’s material, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I did find it a little bit difficult to apply because of all of the Serum that the Microfibre Cloth had been soaked in.
