What I thought of the box itself.

I was really impressed with the box itself as I was expecting everything to come in a bubble wrapped lined envelope, and was rather surprised when I took it out of it’s packaging to reveal a really substantial yet small square thick branded cardboard box that had Secret Scent Box emblazoned on the top of it. I was also really impressed with it’s contents because as well as containing the three miniature bottles of fragrance encased in really soft foam, they had also included a card about each individual fragrance and a card all about Secret Scent Box itself.

I really liked this, and thought that it would be the perfect fragrance for when you’re transitioning from your Spring scent to your Summer scent, as I thought that the mixture of Watermelon and Basil reminded me of a Summer’s cocktail, and the Lavender reminded me of all of the fresh floral scents that Spring brings with it. I could only just smell the Patchouli and Dark Chocolate though, but I did think that it added a nice masculine note to the fragrance as a whole..

The Paco Rebanne 1 Million Privé.

I’m not usually a massive fan of Paco Rabanne fragrances, but I rather liked this, and thought that the blend of Mandarin, Cinnamon, Myrrh, Tobacco, and Tonka Beans created a really nice seductive scent that I thought would be perfect to wear on a date, as I couldn’t stop sniffing myself whilst I was wearing it.

I thought that this was nice, but it had to be my least favourite of the three fragrances, as I much prefer light and citrus fragrances rather than deep seductive ones, and this was just far too deep for me. I did however think that the combination of Tonka Beans, Musk, Vetiver, Coriander, and Amber created a deep masculine herbal scent that was really nice, but as i’ve already said, this just wasn’t for me.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Secret Scent Box March 2017 box a nine out of ten. I really liked the box as a whole, and thought that they had included something for everyone, whether you like citrus, herbal, or spicy fragrances. I would have preferred it if the bottles had been roller balls rather than spray bottles, but other than that, I really enjoyed trying some fragrances that I wouldn’t have otherwise tried.
