It’s the first Monday of the month, and you know what that means. Yes! It’s time for another Shine the Spotlight.
As its Guide DogsWeek, I thought I would do a special edition of Shine the Spotlight. All of the amazing bloggers below use a Guide Dog to help them live a more independent life.
Guide Dogs Week, is held every year to promote awareness and of course raise money. Guide Dogs is run entirely on donations, so if you can spare anything, please donate.
First up has to be, Fashioneyestar.
Fashioneyestar, is ran by Emily. Emily, is an English Literature graduate and journalist from London. Emily’s blog, is a fashion and lifestyle blog that bridges the gap between being visually impaired and fashion. Emily also seeks to change people’s perceptions of the visually impaired community. Emily suffers from Septo Optic Displaysia, which has left her with no sight in her right eye and 10% in her left. Emily also has a gorgeous Guide Dog called Unity, you may have seen them on This Morning. Emily’s blog is amazing, and you have to check it out, oh did I mention she’s also on YouTube?
Next up has to be, Molly Burke.
Molly Burke, is obviously ran by Molly. Molly is a motivational speaker from Toronto, Canada. Molly’s blog is all about her lifestyle including posts about her feelings, and the places she shops. Molly suffers from Retinitis Pigmentosa, the same as me. Molly also has a beautiful Guide Dog called Gallop, who you’ll probably see pop up in her YouTube videos. If you haven’t already, please go check out Molly’s blog.

Kimberly won the RNIB Young Illistrator 2014, and is currently working on a composition that will be on display at the John Lewis art wall in the Trafford Centre. Kimberly also has a beautiful Guide Dog called Tami, which you can read all about on her blog. Kimberly’s blog is all about her life and her incredible artwork. If you haven’t already, please go check out her amazing blog.

Wadwellington, is ran by Richard. Richard is an ex-lawyer, volunteer, and speaker originally from Leeds. Richard’s blog, is full of talking book reviews and rants about life. Richard also has a lovely Guide Dog called Ralph, who you can often see out and about raising money for Guide Dogs. If you want some great book reviews, then Richard’s blog is for you.
The last and final blog for this very special Shine the Spotlight has to be, Craig and Comando.
Craig and Comando, is obviously ran by Craig, a first time Guide Dog owner from Newcastle. Craig posts all about the adventures he and Comando get up to. Craig’s blog is on the official Guide Dogs site, and if it’s on there, you know it’s good. If you haven’t already, please check out Craig’s blog.
