As you probably already know, I absolutely love discovering cool and interesting Face Masks. That’s why when I had heard that Skin Republic had released a Bubble Purifying Charcoal Face Mask that bubbles and foams when exposed to Oxygen, I obviously had to give it a go. Well I finally used it the other day, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Skin Republic say about their Bubble Purifying Charcoal Face Mask.
A purifying Bubble Face Mask Sheet made with activated Charcoal. When it’s exposed to the Air the Oxygenating Mask begins to bubble and foam diving deep into the skin’s pores eliminating impurities. Fruit Acids exfoliate dead Skin Cells for a bright, fresh and luminous complexion.
Features & Benefits.
- An Oxygenating facial effect that cleans pores.
- Fruit Acids exfoliate and brighten for a youthful appearance.
- Refines pores and detoxifies.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s size, as even though it was pretty large, it only just managed to fit my Face. I also wasn’t a massive fan of it’s holes, as along with the normal Eye, Nose and Mouth holes, it also had quite a few other holes all over it at really strange positions.
I really liked it’s material, as even though it was made out of an incredibly thin yet durable Tissue, I thought that it felt really soft against my Skin.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Charcoal, Tea Tree Oil, and Apple Fruit extract, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fresh fruity scent to it that kind of reminded me of Comfort Fabric Conditioner.
I absolutely loved how wet it was, as with it been called a Bubble Purifying Charcoal Mask, I was kind of expecting it to feel a little bit dry. But it was actually really wet, and felt as if someone had soaked the Sheet in an entire bottle of thick Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, as once I had eventually gotten it to fit my Face, it started to lightly bubble and foam. Then after about five or so minutes of me wearing it, it started to bubble and foam a little bit more until it turned into a near fizzing sensation that created a thick and frothy Foam all over my Face.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly soft, smooth and moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowy, radiant and clear for hours after I had used it.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a really glossy pouch inside a thick cardboard box that I thought looked really professional.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Skin Republic Bubble Purifying Charcoal Face Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s material, it’s delicious sweet and fresh fruity scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s size, or that it had so many strange holes all over it.
