He’ll Make Sure That I Glow | Pixi Glow Mist

During the warmer months my Skin tends to get a little dull and dehydrated, which means that i’m always on the look out for anything that will return it to it’s former hydrated and glowing self. That’s why when I had heard that Pixi had released a Glow Mist as part of their Glow range, I obviously had to give it a go. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

a tall thin cylindrical clear plastic bottle with a pale green lid and a label that has pixi skin treats since 1999 glow mist with propolis and Argan oil nourishing, hydrating, protective 80ml written in dark gold writing on it, on a white background.

Here’s what Pixi say about their Glow Mist.

How to apply.

  • Use in the AM and PM or when needed.
  • Step 1 : Shake to mix.
  • Step 2 : Close Eyes and mist over Face, Neck and Hair.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Olive Fruit extract, Propolis, Aloe Vera, Safflower Oil, Avocado Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Oil, Thyme Oil, Clove Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Lemon Peel, and Orange Peel, I thought that it had a gorgeous fresh and zingy yet ever so slightly Spa like Ginger scent to it that kind of reminded me of high end Ginger Biscuits.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Mist and was part Oil and part water. I thought that it felt incredibly light and airy, and was more like a very light and silky Micellar Water rather than a light and balmy Face Mist.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had given the bottle a good shake and had sprayed a little bit of it onto my Skin, it turned from a light and thin silky Micellar Water into a light and slightly balmy Mist that sunk into my Skin within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that once I had pressed the spray pump down that it released an incredibly fine yet powerful Mist that covered my entire Face within a couple of sprays.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly nourished, moisturised and silky soft, but it also left it looking extremely refreshed and glowing for a good hour or so after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall thin cylindrical plastic spray bottle with a clickable lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves. I also really liked it’s spray pump, as it had a little groove on the front of it that told me exactly where the spray was going to come out of.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Pixi Glow Mist a nine point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s gorgeous rich Ginger Biscuit scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging. But I would have loved it to have smelt a little bit stronger, as it’s scent and results were two of the main reasons that made me look forward to using it.
