A couple of weeks ago, both me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate to come and celebrate their launch, and after having a fantastic time checking everything out, I thought that I would tell you all about it.
What is The Yorkshire Soap Company?
The Yorkshire Soap Company, is a cruelty free Bath and Body brand that sells a wide range of deliciously scented handmade Soapy treats that all look good enough to eat, located in Beverly, Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Knaresborough, Leeds, York, and now Harrogate.
What happened when I visited The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate?
Once we had finally arrived in Harrogate, and had wandered around for a little while, we eventually headed to The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate, which is located next door to GAP and Cath Kidston on James Street in Harrogate City Centre.
Then once we had walked into the beautiful and very quirky looking store, we were very kindly greeted by Rachel, the really nice woman who had invited us, who said hi, and asked us if we were ok. We said hi back, and that yes we were, and after a second or so of us chatting and her checking her guest list, she said to go on through and that she hoped that we had a great evening.
Then once we had grabbed ourselves a drink, we just wandered around and checked out all of the delicious smelling products that were dotted around the store in little areas.
The first area that we checked out was their Soap Bar, which was absolutely jam packed full of tons of gorgeous smelling Soaps, including their beautiful looking Soap Cupcakes, delectable looking Soap Cake Slices and adorable classic Soap Bars. All of them smelt incredible, including their Cherry Bakewell Cake Slice, which actually happens to be one of my favourite ever scents. But we also found a couple of new ones that are currently only available at the Harrogate store, including an extremely fruity Tropical one, a very floral Summer Fruit Blossom one, and a fantastic yet ever so slightly musky Spiced Orange one.
Then once we had finished checking out all of the delicious smelling Soaps, we headed on over to the Bath & Shower area and checked out all of the amazing smelling Bath & Shower products that were on offer, including their new very cool and incredible smelling Fizz Pops that have Popping Candy in them, hiss, pop and bang when they hit the Water, and are available in either Strawberry, Banana, Peach, Lychee, or Watermelon. We also checked out some really cool Shower Butters from Bomb Cosmetics which were a little like a cross between an extremely strongly scented Shower Gel, and a really creamy and indulgent Body Butter.
Then once we had finished checking out the Bath & Shower area, we got talking to Marcus & Warren, the owners, who told us all about some of the new and really interesting products that will be launching very soon, including a Body Scrub that looks like little scoops of Ice Cream and will be available in a range of different scents. They even told us all about some of the other products that they would like to release in the future, including more Bath Bombs, and an even wider range of delicious scents. We then just talked for a little bit about the company, what we thought about the beautiful new store, and even my Eye condition.
Then once we had finished talking to Marcus and Warren, we went on over to the Bath Bomb area and checked out all of the fantastic smelling Bath Bombs that were on offer, including one of my favourites Night Night Sweetheart and a couple from Bomb Cosmetics, including one that was called It’s Not Easy Being Green that had an adorable little Frog on the top of it.
Then once we had finally finished checking everything out and had paid for all of the delicious smelling treats that we had picked up throughout the evening, we decided that it was time to head off. So we said our thank you’s and goodbye’s to Marcus, Warren and all of the other lovely staff members that we had met throughout the evening, and headed off back into Harrogate to catch our Train. But before we could leave, one of the really nice staff members handed us both a little goodie bag containing one of their beautifully packaged Yorkshire Lass Soap Cupcakes, a Pink Prosecco Bar Soap, a Mint Cream Bar Soap, two of their Cola Cow Bath Truffles, and two of their Yorkshire Lass Bath Truffles.
I had an absolutely amazing time celebrating the launch of The Yorkshire Soap Company Harrogate, and if you’re looking to treat yourself to some delicious smelling Bath and Body products, are looking for a gift for someone special, or just happen to be passing, I highly recommend that you pop in and say hi.
