As you probably already know, i’ve been trying to lose a little bit of weight and be a bit healthier lately, so when the guys over at Teatox Twist very kindly asked if I would like to try out their 28 Day Detox Tea, I of course said yes. Well i’ve just finished drinking it for 28 days, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what Teatox Twist say about their 28 day detox tea.
Teatox Twist 28 Day Detox Tea… An expertly blended all natural combination of antioxidant rich Chinese Oolong Tea blended with a selection of cleansing super herbs, that are all believed to unburden and support the body’s internal systems, and help them to work at their maximum efficiency, which also tastes great too. The Teatox Twist 28 Day Detox Tea also contains Chinese Oolong Tea, Liquorice, Ginger, Fennel, Schizandra Berries, Peppermint, Lemongrass, and Dandelion Leaves.
It’s brewing time.
It says that you were supposed to brew it for anywhere between three and four minutes, which I thought was the perfect brewing time because I found that brewing it for under three minutes left it tasting incredibly weak, and brewing it for any longer than four minutes made it taste rather bitter.
I was a little worried that mixing all of those different ingredients together would make for a really unpleasant tasting cup of tea, as i’ve found that adding Ginger to a tea can make it taste quite spicy, and adding Liquorice to a tea can make it taste quite bitter, but despite my worries, this was really tasty and surprisingly rather sweet. I usually have to have at least two sugars in my cups of tea, and I didn’t touch a grain of Sugar the entire 28 days that I drank this, which shows just how sweet this tasted.
It’s packaging and design.
I was really impressed with both the packaging of the teabags and the teabags themselves, as rather than them coming in a non-descriptive box, these came in a massive bag that could be resealed to keep in the tea’s freshness. I also really liked the shape and design of the bags themselves, as rather than them coming in a flat square or circular shaped bag, these came in a large pyramid shaped one which meant that all of the tea leaves and other ingredients had plenty of space to move around. I also liked that these had a really long draw string attached to them, as I can’t count the amount of times that i’ve lost a tea bags draw string in my cup of tea, and had to go looking for it again.
With this being a tea I wasn’t really expecting it to do much, but after drinking it for 28 days, I noticed that I had more energy, was more focus, slept better, didn’t feel as bloated after meals, and also lost a couple of pounds, which I thought was fantastic.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Teatox Twist 28 Day Detox Tea, a nine point five out of ten. I loved everything about this, from it’s taste to it’s results. The only thing that would make me rate it a full ten out of ten would be if I could find it in my local supermarket, as even though it’s technically a detox tea, it’s actually rather nice drunken as an everyday tea.
