Like most people I always find it incredibly difficult to get out of Bed in the morning, and even though i’m not a massive fan of the taste of Coffee, I do like to use it in my Skincare sometimes. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released a Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check it out. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what The Body Shop say about their Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Alga Extract, Arabica Coffee Seed Powder, Sesame Seed Oil, Cocoa Seed Butter, Shea Butter, Caffeine, and Caramel, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly burnt Coffee scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Coffee Shop.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Coffee Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like a thick and creamy Night Cream with little pieces of grit in it rather than an extremely harsh and gritty Coffee Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy Night Cream with little pieces of grit in it into a thin and balmy Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that it created an ever so slight warming sensation as I was massaging it into my Skin, but it unfortunately only lasted for a couple of seconds.
I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, clear and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and more awake for hours after I had used it.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask, an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly burnt Coffee scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I would have just loved it to have been a little bit more scrubby and for it’s warming sensation to have lasted a lot longer. I also thought that it was a little bit overpriced for the amount of product that you actually got.
