Sweet Sweet Strawberries | The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner

My Hair has been feeling extremely dry and dull lately, which means that i’ve been looking for anything that will bring it back to it’s soft and shiny former self. That’s why when I had heard that The Body Shop had released their Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo and  Strawberry Clearly Glossing Conditioner, that claims to hydrate and add shine to dull hair, I obviously had to give them a go. Well i’ve been using them both for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about both delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Strawberries, I thought that this had a delicious fresh and sweet Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating Strawberries and Cream during Summer. I did however notice that once I had lathered it up a little, that it also had a strange musky yet sour note to it. But I think that was because it also contained Aloe Vera, and Strawberries and Aloe Vera don’t generally tend to mix well together as a scent.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as I thought that it felt extremely watery, and felt more like a thin and watery Hair Serum rather than a thick and gloopy Shampoo.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from a thin and watery Hair Serum into a thick and balmy Shampoo that lathered up really quickly and created tons of delicious Strawberry scented bubbles all over my Head.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling really soft and smooth, but it also left it looking incredibly glossy and smelling of delicious sweet Strawberries that lasted for hours after I had washed it out of my Hair.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical plastic bottle with a black lid that I thought looked beautiful sat on my beauty shelves.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Strawberries, I thought that this had a delicious rich and creamy Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of eating Strawberries and Cream during Summer. I did however notice that once I had lathered it up a little, that it also had a strange musky yet sour note to it. But I think that was because it also contained Aloe Vera, and Strawberries and Aloe Vera don’t generally tend to mix well together as a scent.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as I thought that it felt incredibly creamy, and felt more like a really thick and luxurious Hair Butter rather than a thick and gloopy Conditioner.

What It did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from a really thick and luxurious Hair Butter into a rich yet thin creamy Conditioner that was really easy to spread through my Hair.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly soft, bouncy and moisturised, but it also left it looking really shiny and smelling of sweet and delicious Strawberries that lasted for hours after I had washed it out of my Hair.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical plastic bottle with a Black lid that I thought looked beautiful sat on my beauty shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo an eight point five out of ten, and The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Conditioner a nine out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Shampoo, as I really liked it’s delicious sweet Strawberry scent, it’s thin and watery consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but it’s strange sour and musky scent when I massaged it into my Hair did put me off it a little bit. I also really liked The Body Shop Strawberry Clearly Glossing Conditioner, as I really liked it’s delicious rich and creamy Strawberry scent, it’s incredibly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging. But again it’s strange musky yet sour scent when I massaged it into my Hair did put me off it a little bit.
