The Glory Of Being Clean | Soap and Glory Body Wash Review

Hi all my wonderful readers. I hope you’re all having a brilliant day.

A little while ago, I was out of my favourite shower gel. I wanted to try something new. I got talking to someone on Twitter and they said I should try Soap and Glory. I have heard nothing but great things about them, so I decided to give them a whirl.

I popped into Boots, and had a look at their scents. They had quite a few nice scents, but I finally settled on two of their more fruitier scents.

The two I picked up were, Sugar Crush and Orangeasm, and I thought I would tell you what I thought of them.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush and Orangeasm Body Wash

I really liked the packaging. Both came in really tall and slender bottles with pumps. I love a good pump. It makes things so much easier, especially when you’re in the shower and the water is running. It is however a little easy to break, because to open the bottle you have to twist the pump. I did this the other day, and it totally snapped off. I can still use it, but it is a little irritating.

The scents are fantastic.

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash

The Sugar Crush is described as a citrus energizing revitalising fresh and foamy body wash and bath bubbles scented with freshly squezed limes and kiwi water juice.

I can definitely smell the limes, but I can’t really smell the kiwi water juice. It does however have a subtle underscent that you can’t quite put your finger on. I wasn’t really a fan of the scent when I first smelt it but it started to grow on me

When I first smelt it, it did kind of remind me of citrus bathroom cleaner, but after using it a few times I love it.

Soap and Glory Orangasm Body Wash

The Orangeasm is described as a zesty fresh revitalising body wash scented with fresh green mandarin, sicilian lemon, and sweet orange peel oils.It also has skin softening moisture boosting properties.

I can definitley smell the mandarin and orange peel oils because it absolutely reeks of oranges. I can’t really smell the lemon though. It does have a nice undertone smell that you can’t quite put your finger on, until you realise it must be the lemon.

The smell kind of reminds me of The Body Shop’s Satsuma range, except this is sweeter, kind of like ttangerine. If you like the satsuma range, you’ll love this.

Once you pump a little of either of these onto your skin it is kind of weird. It stays in a gel like consistency for about a minute. Then when you start applying it to your skin it turns into a kind of milk. Which actually absorbs into your skin extremely quickly. I did find that I needed a good amount for my entire body, just because it did absorb a little too quick.

Out of ten I would have to mark the Sugar Crush an eight, and the Orangeasm an eight point five. The Sugar Crush was fantastic, but I think it needs to lose all the other scents and just have a straight up true lime scent. The Orangeasm was amazing. I love orange scents. Some orange scents can smell incredibly fake, this didn’t.

Overall I was extremely impressed and I will be picking up more of their incredible scents, and products as soon as I can. I didn’t really like the nutty or perfumey scents they had, but i’ll give anything a chance.

Have you tried any of these two incredible scent? What did you think? What should I try next? Please let me know down below.
