A Yummy Smelling Yorkshire Christmas | The Yorkshire Soap Company Christmas 2018 Range

As you probably already know, The Yorkshire Soap Company definitely has to be one of my favourite places to shop. That’s why when I saw that they had released their Christmas 2018 range whilst I was out shopping the other week, I obviously had to pick something up. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a block of the Spiced Apples Novelty Soap and the Almond Panettone Tin Candle, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about both delicious smelling products.

The Yorkshire Soap Company Spiced Apples Novelty Soap.

This gorgeous Novelty Soap Bar is the perfect addition to your bathroom this Christmas. With a fresh, fruity scent of juicy apples and decorated with a Santa figure, it’s simply wonderful!

The Yorkshire Soap Company Almond Panettone Tin Candle.

Our Almond Panettone candle has a gorgeous fragrance of toasted almonds and spices. Perfect as a gift for someone special, this tin candle has a burn time of over 40 hours.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Apple Juice, and Winter Spices, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of an Apple Pie fresh out of the Oven.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had ran it under some running Water and had started to massage it between my Hands, it created a really thick and balmy lather that felt more like I was using some Washing Up Liquid to wash my Hands rather than a block of Soap.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, moisturised and hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple Pie for a good thirty minutes after I had used it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Amaretto, Marzipan, Dried Fruits, and Winter spices, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent to it that kind of reminded me of if they had poured a Glass of Amaretto into a bowl of melted Dark Chocolate. I could definitely smell the Amaretto, Marzipan and Winter Spices, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Dried Fruits, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

It’s scent throw.

I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, as not only did this manage to fill both my room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent within about twenty minutes of me lighting it, but it also lasted for hours after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 40 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 50 hours of delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Spiced Apples Novelty Soap a nine out of ten, and The Yorkshire Soap Company Almond Panettone Tin Candle an eight point five out of ten. I really liked The Yorkshire Soap Company Spiced Apples Novelty Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple Pie scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I would have loved it to have smelt a little bit more of Apples. I really liked The Yorkshire Soap Company Almond Panettone Tin Candle, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and chocolatey yet ever so slightly spicy Almond scent, it’s really powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have smelt a little less of chocolate and a little bit more of Amaretto and Marzipan..
