As you probably already know, i’m always on the look out for anything that will add some volume to my flat and lifeless Hair. That’s why when I saw that The Yorkshire Soap Company had released a Salty Beach Shampoo Bar that claims to add volume to flat and lifeless Hair whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago. I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.
Here’s what The Yorkshire Soap Company say about their Salty Beach Shampoo Bar.
Made with natural Dead Sea Salt, Fresh Coconut Oil and beautifully scented with a Tropical Fruit Fragrance blend. This Bar was created for Oily Hair types, to absorb the excess Oil and give volume.
No mess, no fuss, no Plastic. Just shiny clean Hair.
Transport yourself to a Beach Paradise with a blend of zingy Citrus and juicy tropical notes, leaves your Hair fresh and vibrant!
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Cocoa Sulphate, Coconut Oil, Dead Sea Salt, Zingy Citrus, and TropicalNotes, I thought that it had a very fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly salty Lemon and Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of a very cheap Bathroom Cleaner.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had submerged it in a little bit of Water and had started to rub it in between my Hands, it created a really thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily through my Hair. I also really liked that because it also contained Dead Sea Salt, that whenever I directly rubbed it into my Hair, that it gave my Scalp a very light but rough scrub.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely volumised, shiny and much healthier too.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Yorkshire Soap Company Salty Beach Shampoo Bar an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved that it created a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather when I used it, that it gave my Scalp a little bit of a scrub whenever I directly rubbed it into my Hair, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly salty Lemon and Coconut scent.
