Yankee Candle Aloe Water & Mango Peach Salsa Review

Hi all my wonderful readers. I hope you’re all having a fantastic day.

Lately, i’ve been going a little crazy on the candles front, and I thought I would share with you what I thought of the two I bought last.

I bought the first one from a local candle store near me, and the second from my favourite candle store, Love Aroma. Even though I didn’t buy the first from Love Aroma, I will be using their site for reference. It’s mainly because the local store doesn’t have a website, and you can still buy them from Love Aroma.

Yankee Candles Aloe Water Large Jar

The first candle I bought was the Yankee Candles Aloe Water.

Love Aroma describe this as a clean refreshing watery scent blended with thick soothing Aloe to create a wonderfully relaxing fragrance experience.

The soft green wax colour beautifully compliments the fresh clean scent that will work well in either your kitchen or bathroom.

I can definitely see why they thought it would be perfect in kitchens and bathrooms. it’s just a clean fresh scent that once lit fills the room with a strong yet delicate fresh watery clean fragrance.

The only way I can describe it is opening all the doors and windows on a really warm summers day.

This is perfect for the spring. It offers that clean fresh scent that you want after coming from the cinnamon scents of winter, but it’s not too fruity or overpowering.

I love lighting this during the day, usually at around 1:30PM. It’s not really a night time scent, but it’s perfect to light when you want to do a little bit of spring cleaning.

I would have to give this an eight out of ten. It’s scent is amazing, but it’s not something I can have burning all day.

Yankee Candles Mango Peach Salsa

The next candle I bought was the Yankee Candles Mango Peach Salsa.

I was actually looking to repurchase a beloved favourite, the Yankee Candles Wild PassionFruit, but apparently it’s been discontinued. That’s when the wonderfully friendly assistant said maybe I would like the Mango Peach Salsa. It’s very similar to the Wild Passion Fruit.

I couldn’t find a description from Love Aroma, but Yankee Candles describe this as a sweet and zesty candle combining juicey peaches, mangos, citrus, ginger flowers and pink pepper.

I can see why the assistant recommended it to me. It has that sweet and fruity scent that I want for the summer. The ginger flowers and pink pepper give it that little something extra that makes it perfect for not only summer but the entire year. The peaches are the dominant scent as you can’t really smell the mango unless you’re looking for it. It’s sweet but not too sweet that it makes you have a headache.

This is perfect to burn at night. It is perfect for when you want to sit and relax watching tv, or reading a nice book.

Out of ten I would have to give this a massive ten. It’s perfect and I can see this being my summer staple scent, and i’ll proberbly be repurchasing this several times.

Have you bought any new candles lately? What were they? Did you like them? I always seem to buy Yankee Candles, but what’s your favourite candle brand? Please let me know down below.
