That’s The Way The Cookie Crumbles | Yankee Candle Cookie Swap Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Cookie Swap collection, which includes Merry Berry Linzer Cookie Swap, Magic Cookie Bar Cookie Swap, and Iced Gingerbread Cookie Swap, and being the candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to pop down to my local Love Aroma and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all three delicious scents.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved this, as I thought that it’s rich fruity scent kind of reminded me of a mix between a Jammy Dodger, a Raspberry Victoria Sponge, and a Raspberry Jam Tart. I could definitely smell the Raspberry Jam, Almond extract, Shortbread, Whipped Butter, and Brown Sugar, as I thought that they were all incredibly strong, and gave it it’s rich Raspberry Jam Tart scent. But luckily I couldn’t really smell the Vanilla Glaze, as I tend to find that the Vanilla in food scents always smells extremely synthetic.

It’s scent throw.

I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, as not only did this fill my entire room with it’s delicious rich and fruity Raspberry Tart scent, but it also filled the whole top floor and some of the downstairs of my house with it too.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 180 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 195 hours of delicious rich and fruity Raspberry Tart scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent when I first smelt it, as I thought that it smelt incredibly sweet. But after I had burnt it a couple of times it actually started to grow on me, as I thought that it kind of reminded me of a Bounty Cookie. I could definitely smell the Butterscotch, Chocolate Chips, Coconut Flakes, Brown Sugar, and Vanilla Bean, as I thought that they were all incredibly strong, and gave it it’s rich Chocolate and Coconut scent. But I was a little surprised that this also contained Nutmeg and Cinnamon, as I really couldn’t smell either of them.

It’s scent throw.

I was really impressed with it’s scent throw, as with it smelling so sweet, I wasn’t really expecting it to have much of one. But it managed to fill both my room and the entire top floor of my house with it’s rich Chocolate and Coconut scent, that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 180 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 190 hours of delicious Chocolate and Coconut scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved this, as even though I thought that it smelt a little overpowering at times, it had a gorgeous Ginger Biscuit scent to it that kind of reminded me of a packet of Fox’s Crinkles Ginger Biscuits. I could definitely smell the Gingerbread, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, and Brown Sugar, as they were all extremely strong, and gave it it’s delicious Ginger Biscuit scent. But I again couldn’t really smell the Vanilla Icing, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

It’s scent throw.

I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, as with this smelling so strong, it managed to fill my room, the entire top floor of my house, and even some of the downstairs of my house with it’s deep and rich Ginger Biscuit scent within about ten minutes of me lighting it.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 180 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 195 hours of delicious deep Ginger Biscuit scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Merry Berry Linzer Cookie Swap a nine point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Magic Cookie Bar Cookie Swap an eight point five out of ten, and the Iced Gingerbread Cookie Swap an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved the Yankee Candle Merry Berry Linzer Cookie Swap, as I loved that it reminded me of Raspberry Jam Tarts, and that it filled most of my house with it’s gorgeous rich Raspberry scent. I also really liked the Yankee Candle Magic Cookie Bar Cookie Swap, as even though I thought that it smelt incredibly sweet, it did fill my room with a delicious Chocolate and Coconut scent, that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out. I absolutely loved the Yankee Candle Ice Gingerbread Cookie Swap, as even though it did smell incredibly overpowering at times, I thought that it was the perfect scent to crawl under a very large fluffy blanket with..
