The Leaves Are Beginning To Fall | Yankee Candle Fall In Love Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Fall In Love collection, which includes Mulberry & Fig Delight, Vibrant Saffron, Warm Cashmere, and Autumn Glow, and being the candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to pop down to my local Love Aroma and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

All four candles in some large glass jars next to some black and white votive holders containing different candles and a bowl of purple figs and mulberries on a light wood table, on a dark background.

It’s scent.

I really liked this, as I thought that it smelt incredibly fruity, whilst also smelling quite sour. I also thought that the Blackberry, sun kissed Fig, Raspberry Leaf, Red Plum, Apricot, and Dewberry, all blended together to create a gorgeous scent that kind of reminded me of a sour Summer Fruit’s Punch..

It’s scent throw.

I was actually really surprised with it’s scent throw, as I was expecting it to be one of those scents that I only noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the room again, but it actually had quite a decent scent throw to it, and even though It didn’t fill the entire top floor of my house like some other candles have done, it did fill my room with a nice sour fruity scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 165 hours of delicious deep fruity scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved this, as I thought that it smelt quite spicy, whilst also still smelling really sweet. I also thought that the Bergamot, Cinnamon Leaf, Star Anise, Saffron, and Amber, all blended together to create a nice rich Ginger scent, and the Warm Wood Accord and Vanilla Bean, combined to create a really nice powdery spicy scent that kind of reminded me of if they had blended both their Baby Powder and Ginger Dusk fragrances together.

It’s scent throw.

I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, as it filled both the top floor of my house and my entire room with a rich spicy yet sweet powdery Ginger scent, that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of gorgeous powdery Ginger scent out of it.

The Yankee Candle Warm Cashmere.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of this, as I thought that it smelt quite masculine, whilst also smelling rather creamy. I also thought that the Cashmere Wood, Golden Amber, Cardamom, Sandalwood, Sueded Musk, White Patchouli, and French Vanilla, all blended together to create a very creamy masculine scent that kind of reminded me of a men’s hair styling product.

It’s scent throw.

I actually really liked it’s scent throw, as even though it didn’t fill the top floor of my house with it’s incredibly masculine creamy scent, it did fill my entire room with it.

The Yankee Candle Autumn Glow.

It’s scent.

I really didn’t like this, as it kind of reminded me of if they had mixed an entire bouquet of flowers with some kind of Musk. I also thought that the Autumn Blossom, fresh cut herbs, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and golden Amber, all blended together to create an extremely floral scent that actually gave me a headache whenever I burnt it.

It’s scent throw.

I actually didn’t mind it’s scent throw, as even though I wasn’t a massive fan of it’s scent, it did fill both my room and the entire top floor of my house with it’s overpowering floral scent in minutes.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 165 hours of powerful floral scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Mulberry & Fig Delight an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Vibrant Saffron a nine point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Warm Cashmere a seven out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Autumn Glow a six out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Mulberry & Fig Delight, as I thought that it’s sour and fruity scent would be the perfect transitional Autumnal scent. I absolutely loved the Yankee Candle Vibrant Saffron, as I just loved that it was both sweet and spicy at the same time. I wasn’t a massive fan of the Yankee Candle Warm Cashmere though, as I just didn’t like it’s extremely strong masculine yet creamy scent, and I also wasn’t a massive fan of the Yankee Candle Autumn Glow, as I thought that it smelt like a bowl of dead Flowers.
