I’m Taking The Cow To Market | Yankee Candle Farmer’s Market Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Farmer’s Market collection, which includes Ciderhouse, Dried Lavender & Oak, Golden Chestnut, and Sweet Maple Chai, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their website and pic them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all four delicious fragrances.

Yankee Candle Ciderhouse.

The ultimate Autumn harvest treat… Freshly pressed Apples lightly spiced and ready to sip. Yankee Candle Ciderhouse also contains top notes of Fuji Apple and Golden Honey, heart notes of Cinnamon Bark, Clove and Nutmeg, and base notes of Sandlewood, Tonka and Vanilla Bean.

Yankee Candle Dried Lavender & Oak.

Hand-tied bunches of Lavender mingle with the woodsy scents and spices of an outdoor Farmer’s Markett. Yankee Candle Dried Lavender & Oak also contains top notes of White Peppercorn, Lavender and Bergamot, heart notes of Davana, White Flowers and Moss, and base notes of Vanilla, Patchouli and Cedarwood.

Yankee Candle Golden Chestnut.

Grab a scoop of warm Chestnuts roasted with ground spices, woodsy Herbs and a touch of Citrus. Yankee Candle Golden Chestnut also contains top notes of Cinnamon Bark, Orange and Cardamon, heart notes of Smoked Chestnuts and Jasmine, and base notes of Cedar, Amber and Sandalwood.

Yankee Candle Sweet Maple Chai.

The Yankee Candle Ciderhouse.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Golden Honey, Clove, and Vanilla Bean, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of a Glass of slightly too hot to drink Mulled Cider. I could definitely smell the Fuji Apple, Golden Honey, cinnamon Bark, Clove, and Nutmeg, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Sandalwood, Tonka, or Vanilla Bean, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as even though I thought that it was going to be incredibly overpowering as it contained Cinnamon Bark, Clove, and Nutmeg, it was actually very light and delicate, and just filled my Room with a very light and delicate Apple scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Bergamot, Moss, and Patchouli, I thought that it had a very deep and woody yet ever so slightly herbal scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a really posh Furniture Store. I could definitely smell the Lavender, Peppercorn, Davana, Moss, Patchouli, and Cedarwood, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s deep and woody yet ever so slightly herbal scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Bergamot, White Flowers, or Vanilla, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.,

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as even though I was expecting it to be quite strong as it contained Lavender, which is a scent i’m not really a massive fan of, it was actually really light and delicate, and filled my Room with  a very light and delicate Lavender scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn tine out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of deep and woody yet ever so slightly herbal Lavender scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Orange, Jasmine, and Amber, I thought that it had a delicious light and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Chestnut scent to it that kind of reminded me of Chestnuts roasting on an open Fire. I could definitely smell the Cinnamon Bark, Cardamom, Smoked Chestnuts, Cedar, Amber, and Sandalwood, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious light and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Chestnut scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Orange or Jasmine, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent throw, as even though it managed to fill my Room with it’s delicious light and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Chestnut scent, it was one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious light and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Chestnut scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Clove, Roasted Pecans, and Sugar, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Chai Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Mug of piping Hot Chai Tea Latte. I could definitely smell the Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Latte Accord, Maple, and Butterscotch, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Chai Tea Latte scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Roasted Pecans or Sugar, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this manage to fill both my Room and most of my House with it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Chai Tea Latte scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Chai Tea Latte scent out of it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Ciderhouse a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Dried Lavender & Oak an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Golden Chestnut a seven point five out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Sweet Maple Chai a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Ciderhouse, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly spicy Apple scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have just liked it to have smelt a little bit more of Apple. I really liked the Yankee Candle Dried Lavender & Oak, as I absolutely loved it’s very deep and woody yet ever so slightly herbal Lavender scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but as i’m not really a massive fan of Lavender I could only burn it for a couple of hours at a time. I really liked the Yankee Candle Golden Chestnut, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious light and creamy yet ever so slightly spicy Chestnut scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have really liked to have actually been able to smell it without having to go out and come back into the Room again. I really liked the Yankee Candle Sweet Maple Chai, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly sweet Chai Tea Latte scent ,it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I could only burn it for a couple of hours at a time as it had a very powerful scent throw to it.
