One Hell Of A Haunted Ride | Yankee Candle Halloween 2019 Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Halloween 2019 collection, which includes Haunted Hayride and Trick or Treat, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their website and pick them both up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them..

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about both delicious spooktacular scents.

Yankee Candle Haunted Hayride.

This haunting aromatic woody scent opens with a purifying Charcoal Accord and warming spice notes of Black Pepper and Nutmeg. Yankee Candle Haunted Hayride also contains top notes of Charcoal Accord, Black Pepper and Orange Zest, heart notes of Rich Cypress, Fur Needle, Nutmeg and Blue Spruce, and base notes of Vanilla, Smoked Amber, Patchouli and Black Musk.

Yankee Candle Trick or Treat.

A crisp Autumn Night filled with the sweet anticipation of sugary treats and spellbinding scents. Yankee Candle Trick or Treat also contains top notes of Nutmeg, Ginger and Caramel, heart notes of Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Clove and Pine Needle, and base notes of Sugary Vanilla, Orange and Fur Balsam.

The Yankee Candle Haunted Hayride.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Charcoal Accord, Blue Spruce, and Sugary Vanilla, I thought that it had a delicious rich and sweet yet ever so slightly smokey Caramel scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Candy Floss Stand at a Funfair on a crisp Autumn Night. I could definitely smell the Charcoal, Black Pepper, Rich Cypress, Fur Needles, Nutmeg, Sugary Vanilla, Smoked Amber, and Patchouli, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious rich and sweet yet ever so slightly smokey Caramel scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Orange Zest, Blue Spruce or Black Musk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill both my room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious rich and sweet yet ever so slightly smokey Caramel scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of delicious rich and sweet yet ever so slightly smokey Caramel scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Caramel, Pine Needle, and Fur Balsam, I thought that it had a delicious deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Bonfire scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you light a Sparkler on Bonfire Night. I could definitely smell the Nutmeg, Ginger, Caramel, Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Clove, and Sugary Vanilla, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious deep and musky yet ever so slightly spicy Bonfire scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Pine Needle, Orange, or Fur Balsam, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Haunted Hayride an nine out of ten and the Yankee Candle Trick or Treat an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Haunted Hayride, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious rich and sweet yet ever so slightly smokey Caramel scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it smelt a little bit stronger.
