Pack Your Bags And Go | Yankee Candle Just Go Collection

Yankee Candle have recently released their Just Go collection, which includes, Coconut Splash, Misty Mountains, Tropical Jungle, and Warm Desert Wind, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to pop down to my local Love Aroma store and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all four delicious scents.

Yankee Candle Coconut Splash.

So refreshing and pure, With just a touch of natural, tropical sweetness. Yankee Candle Coconut Splash also contains top notes of Melon, Coconut Water and Mango, heart notes of Coconut and Coconut Milk, and base notes of Vanilla and Sandalwood.

Yankee Candle Misty Mountains.

Like an endless vista of pine-clad Mountains cloaked in a cool, silent mist. Yankee Candle Misty Mountains also contains top notes of Pine and Spearmint, heart notes of Lavender, and base notes of Patchouli, Vetiver and Cedarwood.

Yankee Candle Tropical Jungle.

A sweet, lush mix of tropical fruits, tropical flowers and green jungle leaf. Yankee Candle Tropical Jungle also contains top notes of Pomelo and Lime, base notes of Papaya Nectar, Hibiscus Flower and Palm Leaf, and base notes of Sugar Cane and Vanilla.

Yankee Candle Warm Desert Wind.

A scent of open space and distant lands brushed with smoked Vanilla and Patchouli. Yankee Candle Warm Desert Wind also contains top notes of Ozone Air and Sheer Cotton, heart notes of Smoked Vanilla and Incense, and base notes of Patchouli.

It’s scent.

I was a little apprehensive about this one, as i’m not usually a massive fan of anything that smells of Coconut. But I actually really liked it, and thought that it had a delicious fresh and watery Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of if they had blended their Sea Air fragrance with their Champaca Blosson fragrance. I could definitely smell the Melon, Coconut Water, Coconut, Coconut Milk and Vanilla, as I thought they were what gave it it’s fresh and watery Coconut scent. But I couldn’t really smell any of the Mango or Sandalwood, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent throw.

I really liked it’s scent throw, as even though it was extremely watery and subtile, it did manage to filled both my room and the entire top floor of my house with it’s delicious fresh and watery Coconut scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.

It’s burn time.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 165 hours of delicious fresh and watery Coconut scent out of it.

A tall glass jar full of some Ice Blue coloured wax with a label that has yankee candle written in black writing,Misty Mountains written in black writing, and a picture of a bright ice blue sky behind some ice white snow topped mountains on it, on a bright background.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of this one, as I thought that it had a very overwhelming rich and creamy masculine scent to it that kind of reminded me of an incredibly cheap men’s deodorant. I could definitely smell the Pine, Patchouli, Vetiver and Cedarwood, as I thought they were what gave it it’s overwhelming rich and creamy masculine scent, but I couldn’t really smell the Spearmint or Lavender, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s scent.

I definitely think that this one had to be my favourite of the entire collection, as I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity scent to it that kind of reminded me of Mango Starburst. I could definitely smell the Pomelo, Lime, Papaya Nectar, Palm Leaf, Sugar Cane and Vanilla, as I thought they were what gave it it’s delicious fresh and fruity scent. But I couldn’t really smell the Hibiscus Flower, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my wick trimmed, I easily got at least 170 hours of delicious fresh and fruity scent out of it.

It’s scent.

I definitely think that this one had to be my least favourite of the entire collection, as I thought that it had a very sickly and sweet floral scent to it that kind of reminded me of a very cheap woman’s perfume. I could definitely smell the Sheer Cotton, Smoked Vanilla, Incense and Patchouli, as I thought they were what gave it it’s sickly and sweet floral scent. But I couldn’t really smell the Ozone Air, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered it a little.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Coconut Splash an eight point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Misty Mountains a five point five out of ten, the Yankee Candle Tropical Jungle a nine out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Warm Desert Wind a five out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Coconut Splash, as I absolutely loved it’s fresh and watery Coconut scent, it’s incredibly strong scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have smelt a tiny bit more of Coconut instead of smelling so watery. I did like the Yankee Candle Misty Mountains, as even though I wasn’t a massive fan of it’s rich and creamy masculine scent, Idid  really like it’s incredibly strong scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved to have been able to actually smell the Spearmint as I think that it might have made me like it a little bit more. I absolutely loved the Yankee Candle Tropical Jungle, as I loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity scent, it’s extremely powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to smell just a little bit stronger, as it did smell pretty subtile whenever I burnt it. I again did like the Yankee Candle Warm Desert Wind, as even though I wasn’t a massive fan of it’s incredibly sickly and sweet floral scent, I did really like it’s extremely strong scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I would have loved it to have smelt a little bit subtler and then maybe I might have actually liked it a little.
