Wash & Go Anywhere | Zerreau Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam

I love when my hair looks, and feels clean, but sometimes I don’t have the time, or effort, to wash it which means dry shampoo is a god send to me. The only trouble with dry shampoo however is that depending on the brand, it can sometimes leave a white powdery residue in my hair, which doesn’t look the best, so when Zerreau asked if I would like to try some of their Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam, I quickly said yes, and after using it for quite a while now, I thought I would tell you what I thought of it.

A tall white bottle, with a blue label and water droplets, on a white background.

Zerreau Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam, is a shampoo that cleans your hair without using water, by using a towel off wet foam that really cleans effectively. It also removes odours and products such as wax, hairspray, and gel, to leave you with soft clean hair where ever you are. It’s not a leave in treatment, or a dry shampoo, it’s a new hybrid that has all the cleaning power of a wet shampoo, with all the convenience  of a dry shampoo.

Zerreau Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam, comes in either Strawberry or Apple, and I was kindly sent the Apple variety, which smells incredible. It’s an extremely fresh and heavy scent of Apple that kind of reminds me of the L’Oreal Kids shampoo I used to use as a kid, i’m not sure if anyone else will remember the L’Oreal Kids shampoo, but that’s what it reminds me of.

The texture was extremely fluid, and just felt like water, especially when it first came out of the bottle, but once I started to massage it into my hair, it turned into a thick balmy foam. It wasn’t as foamy or as light as my usual shampoo, and I did have to use a fair amount to get it into a thick lather, but it did eventually lather up.

It did clean my hair and leave it feeling soft, but it took a good twenty to thirty minutes to completely dry, which was kind of irritating. It did feel a little weird in my hair for the first five minutes though, but no more so than when I use a normal dry shampoo.

I love the packaging as it’s a tall thin bottle with a pump, god I love a bottle with a pump.

Overall I would have to rate Zerreau Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam, a six out of ten. I did like it, but I did have to use quite a lot to get it to lather up which was kind of annoying. Even though I probably won’t be using it as a replacement for my dry shampoo, I will repurchase it for when i’m around the house and I just want to freshen up my dry dull hair.

If you would like to check out Zerreau Towel Off Dry Shampoo Foam for yourself, you can buy it from either Superdrug, Sainsbury’s, Amazon or Chemist Direct.
