A couple of weeks ago, me and Jamie were very kindly invited down to Joe Browns warehouse in Leeds, to come check out all of their upcoming Autumn Winter 2016 collection. After having an amazing evening checking everything out, I thought I would tell you all about it.
As well as going with Jamie, I also went with Michelle, who has taken all of the pictures in this post, so if you like what you see, please go show her some love.
After having a little wander around Leeds, we decided it would be best to order an Uber, mainly because we had absolutely no idea how to get there, and after getting rather lost, the driver couldn’t figure out that a barrier wasn’t a wall, we eventually arrived at the massive Joe Browns warehouse.
Once we had walked in, a really nice gentleman greeted us and took all of our names, and then showed us to the staircase leading up to the main warehouse area. Once I had conquered the stairs, we walked into a massive open space full of clothes and loads of other bloggers. We were then greeted by Emily, the lovely woman who had invited us, and then we were offered a drink. There was Prosecco on offer, but I was extremely good and opted for the sparkling Apple drink. The staircase had sent me a little funny, and I didn’t think adding alcohol to the mixture would be a great idea. Once we had been handed our drinks, we just continued talking to Emily
After a little while, we finished our chat and started to wander around the room. Jamie and Michelle left me to sit on one of the comfy leather couches whilst they had a little nosy at all the wonderful clothes, and took some pictures.
Once they came back, Jamie lead me over to where all the gorgeous menswear was, and I of course had a good look and feel of absolutely everything.

I basically fell in love with the entire collection, but I especially liked an extremely soft flannel shirt, which would be perfect for when it gets cold, a stunning military style blazer, a gorgeous leather jacket, and a leaf print shirt that would look amazing on anyone. I also really liked all the accessories in the collection, including a stunning metal Deer pin, which would look fantastic with the military style blazer I saw.

While I was feeling up all the beautiful clothes, I started chatting to a really friendly man who worked at Joe Browns. We just chatted about how long I had been blogging, and what I thought of the collection. I could tell that he really loved his job as he was extremely passionate about the entire collection.

After we had finished chatting, Emily gathered us all up and started giving us a tour of the entire warehouse. First we saw where everyone worked, and then we moved onto their studio. This was filled to the brim with clothes and props for all of the new collection pictures. This was basically Michelle’s heaven and totally brought out her inner photographer geek.

We then had a little wander around on ourselves and Jamie and Michelle found some adorable bean bags. I didn’t realise what they were on about at first, so they decided to sit me on one. Now because bean bags are usually extremely low to the ground, whenever I try to get off of one, I either end up looking like a maniac on day release from the nut house, or go so dizzy that I fall back down again, and unfortunately, it was the latter this time. There I was, sat on a bean bag in the middle of a massive warehouse, bouncing up and down on a bean bag, looking like a jack in the box. It was hilarious but Jamie and Michelle had to eventually help me up, haha!
We then found our way to Joe Browns conference room, where we watched two videos. One was about a competition they were holding that involved trying to find a pair of shoes full of vouchers that had been hidden somewhere in Leeds, and the other was a short advert showcasing their new collection. We then continued the tour and eventually ended up back at the clothing area. We had another look at all the gorgeous clothes, and then we just relaxed and started chatting with some of the other bloggers who were also at the event.
The evening was starting to draw to a close, so we said our goodbye’s and thank you’s to Emily and her amazing team, and ordered another Uber to get us back to the train station. When I was leaving, the wonderful people at Joe Browns handed me a little goodie bag, which contained a gorgeous Black Leather Hook Bracelet, and I thought I would give it away to one of you lovely lot. I’m so jealous you got to go to this event, I’m such a fan of Joe Browns. I will have to check your friends posts out too (for the ladies stuff) What a great photo of you on the bean bag, I’m sorry you had so much trouble getting back up, I’d be exactly the same. In fact I probably wouldn’t have made it in there unless they had a lift. Me and stairs don’t get on together very well.
