I am on a podcast!
A little while ago, I was contacted by one of my good friends, Alvaro, and asked if it would be ok if he interviewed me as part of his amazing new series, Where Does V.I and Blind People Live, and How Is Life There, on his incredible podcast The Low Vision Bureau.
I said that would be fine and a few Saturdays ago we had a really nice chat on skype and this is the result.
We talked all about where I live, different things to do, what technology I would recommend, and even how much my internet costs.
The Low Vision Bureau is amazing. Alvaro actually suffers from the same eye condition as me, Retinitis Pigmentosa.
I first met Alvaro through one of the incredible Facebook groups I am a member of and we soon became very good friends.
The Low Vision Bureau Podcast is a podcast for the visually impaired, and their family and friends, but it’s also for the sighted to help them understand the visually impaired a lot better.
Alvaro’s podcast has people from all over the world and he has interviewed both visually impaired people with many different conditions and some of the sighted community who are trying to help.
The Low Vision Bureau Podcast is incredible and you really should check it out.
